Great point about who is inviting whom to which table. What if the majority was invited to the minority table to look listen and learn?

Core argument resonates wrt 'but why'; 'patterns' etc. as the approach is essentially transdisciplinary and naturally (at least for me) leads to the question 'why disciplines'? Who benefits from this fragmentation of what is unified?
This leads us to Said's contrapuntal approach that promotes ‘contrapuntal reading, thinking and writing’ in order to ‘realise suppressed voices, invisible facts and other hidden elements’. In other words 'Ubuntu/Unhu/Khoe!na' amongst other terms.
'Whose table' is the question of our times, and thus self-determination is the step before counter-point in a hopefully not eternal two-step dance ... Exciting to see how the road is made in your field, and how you seek to collapse artificial boundaries of all sorts. Thanks Frank for the link and both of you for the education!

Dear @Sarah Henkeman Thank you very much. Couldn't agree more! We are on a journey.... an interesting one, to unearth the invisible facts and hidden elements!

Thank YOU Tongai for hosting our conversation and I cannot agree more that we have much unpacking (and "unpicking") to do, most definitely your sizzling hot question "who table?"
