I had no idea about this band, or this man's incredible guitar skills. For that, i am truly ashamed of myself.. Man you can't beat the sound of a lead guitar being played on a fender strat..!! Best guitar I've ever owned was a studio Les Paul, the other guitar player in the band i was in back in my younger days played a Texas fender fat strat.. loved them days when the whole band was really hitting every note and everything was just perfect.. i played most of the leads but we both played lead depending on which tune we were playing at the time.. . The other guitar player got on heroin really bad, like we would practice at his house in his basement, somedays the rest of us would jam for 3-4 hours, but the other guitar player was nowhere to be seen the entire time.. the last straw for me was when he begged me to let him string my brand new Les Paul, which he directly sat on top of a flimsy little wooden shelf that hung in his basement, which of course couldn't hold the weight of my brand new Les Paul guitar, which ended up hitting the ground, snapping the neck completely in half😭 He paid to have it fixed and honestly they did such a great job that you could barely tell it happened, but i knew it happened, i watched it happen, and it was just never the same after that to me.. that was the end of my band days, which sucked, we had put so much time and effort into this thing, i came on board after they lost the original lead guitarist, again, drugs was to blame, but anyway, i learned 60 songs, in just a little over 2 months time.!! I had to be at work at 8am everyday, so I'd get up at 4am everyday, so I could get a couple hours practice in before i had to leave for work.. man, those really were some of the best days of my life... I miss it every now and then, but alas, im rambling, so yeah, this was a great solo by Deaner, I'll have to check out some more of their stuff for sure
A criminally underrated guitar player
Dean Ween might be the best rock guitarist. Hendrix, Vaughn, Gilmour. He's up there.
I literally can't think of any band that you can go and see live and hear guitar playing like this.
He's crazy good
@@abe8435 fr hes mind expanding
this street corner is smoldering to this day
Some of the brownest, grooviest, guitar I’ve ever seen in my entire life.
God dam this is what live for dean ween is the golden cheese
"Tear for Eddie"

holy shit
Long live Mick!
Known by most in Australia only as the weird guy from the Push The Little Daisies video.
Damn
What show was this? It's weird seeing Deaner play a black strat. Usually he's got old red.
deaner played the black strat on the tour that just ended. he shredded it
I think his got stolen for a while so he barely uses it anymore
Is this A Tear For Eddie?
everyone left you hanging bro. yes tear for eddie.
@@MrHowardsternspenis It happens to me all the time. 😥
Hearing some zappa in there...
It probably is a bit. Ik this song is heavily inspired by Funkadelic's Maggot Brain, but Zappa has some similar songs too.
soooo Eddie Hazel
Did yaseeme
Not remotely into this band but this dude can shred
Mister J even though i love ween, i respect the fact that you can appreciate his playing, rock on
What he lacks in technique he makes up for in brown
That Audience SUCKS!! Definitely Deserves A Much Louder Applause Than Whatever That was!!
Incredibly, there was a sparse crowd at this show for such an amazing band.
Fuck. YES.
