@@jboneill I have work unfortunately. I need to get my own boat because my friends don't really want to get up early since they mostly surf and are drinking.
great video. I have gone to the lake a few times and forgot my fins and ridden without them (i ride an SOB on cable and behind the boat), so much fun, and it has taught me to edge much better. Hopefully our boat will be fixed soon and I can hit the lake...... Winter here in Australia but still warm enough to get some butter where I live.
Hey JB! Love your vids man! When would you say it's ok to ride with or without fins behind the boat? Watchiing this video made me wanna take my cable park board (Slingshot's Coallition) and use it on the river... What do you think?
That is pretty much the extent of my riding behind my 2005 stingray. I'm an old (40) east coast surfer and I pretty much just carve all day long behing the boat. That's all I need. I love just slashing off the lip over and over. I can't get enough. Good video brah!
Love this new non-fin vid jb. Id love to see more like this in the future. Early morning rides are the best bro. Congrats on 36k subs. Much love and keep up good work❤️
JB something I think u should do is go for a vid at Lake Glenbawn Australia which is a place I go camping at and in the mornings at 7pm even in winte the water is smooth aassssss
I see in all the boat vids that the rope is connected to a high point. This is not possible with my boat. Are most of the tricks still possible or is it realy hard? Ps love the boat vids🚤
That was awesomely sick to watch dude... Cool surface tricks with great board control. It was like watching a water version of Andy Anderson, Isamu, and Kilian Martin the freestyle skaters. You may be onto something there folks. Perhaps add a boss soundtrack nail the tumble turns and you have a winner! 🤟🏽
@jb_oneill love catching early morning sets. So sick, pressing on water is not easy, haha. You guys make it look good! Moving to Austin, be there in 3 weeks, let me know if there's opportunity to ride together.
So I want a wake tower is it worth the 1,000$ because I am a new wakeboarder and all of the people I watch like you have one so I was just wondering. I am kind of looking at a tower and the wakeboard you use because I got a old wakeboard off of Facebook marketplace

Yo! Loving all the new content. Keep it up man! Would love to see a tutorial video on creating a solid/even wake behind the boat. How to shape it smooth and steep on BOTH sides, with no wash. I know each boat is different, but would like to see how you fill your ballasts and/or adjust any lead bags while out on the lake. Any tips/tricks would be awesome. Thanks!
JB ONeill Awesome! Can’t wait to see it. It’s easy to overload one side and get a steep, poppy ramp. But been struggling to keep it steep and clean on both sides simultaneously. Hope to make those landings cushier and also smooth out the launches for the toeside approach. Thanks! 🤙
Im new to wakeboarding. Got my heelside egde down pat. Im havin trouble with my toe edges tho lol landed flat on my face yesterday lol. @@stevenwilson8975 I wouldnt say fins are what give you pop, but they definitely help you track all the way through the top of the wake which would likely help you get pop consistently. you may lose pop if you scrub the top of the wake if you slip a bit with no fins.
@@jboneill oh okay I totally understand. so basically if you ride finless its easier to slip and miss your pop instead off having fins help carry your edge to the top

On your regular big wake runs do you use fins? Or does it depend on the board?
