1-you can decide if you want to skip all the minigames in the menu 2-there is one backpack that explains why peter didnt care about his backpacks(he basically won a science fair and rejected the money because it was from fisk, but accepted the unlimited backpacks)
I’m going to play devils advocate about peters new face and no I don’t like it more than the original one but my theory is that they just didn’t have as much time to work with the new face compared to the old one which is why I want to see the new face in the sequel since they will have almost 3 years to have worked on it to get as much emotion out of it as possible which is why I’m giving Insomniac a pass for the remaster
After playing 2018 I started playing miles morales and I cringed so hard when I saw peters “remastered” face. And those flying sable agents shiver me Timbers bro, they made me wanna jump out my window.
At first I was like oh he's being a fanboy. But you actually did touch on some of the annoying and almost game abandoning aspects. I really disliked the stupid Harry science side missions. The pigon ones were fun at first, but I couldn't get over how fast the little fuckers were and if you didn't catch them right away then you could fail the mission. I did still complete most of them though to take a break from the other side missions. Also yeah I hated the MJ sections. If they had given all the time spent on MJ or Miles to Peter then the game wouldn't have seemed so rushed. I personally didn't enjoy the chaos so much because it was like take two steps, and get into a fight for a cycle about 30 minutes long as you try get getting to the other missions or tasks you _want_ to do. I actually really liked the college students is missing missions. I thought it was kinda sweet that while the cops wouldn't do anything that the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man would do something. I liked the dialog for that a lot because at first Peter is all maybe he just partied to hard. It could've easily been a simple fake-out where the guy forgets to charge his phone or something, but I like how it wasn't until you completed the mission that it's revealed there's more to it. It felt like real Spider-Man stuff. Spider-Man is the kinda hero that takes on any task no matter how small or how gigantic. Saving a cat from a tree check, delivering pizza check, and saving the world BIG ASS check. I would've loved instead of people doing random selfies with Spider-Man if they were like hey man I need you to help me find my dog, or like when you interact with them you could build your reputation or something not quite like Red Dead. But something that gives pay off to people who do interact with them, ya know? Besides his social media updates or more followers which does little to give that feeling of satisfaction. That said they did put a lot into the game and made it enjoyable over all. Just those small little annoyances that kinda mucked up the game. Especially, that overly zealous E-girl. Jesus, when I saw that shit I was like I rather go another round with the Sable agents then hear her talk. God awful. I'd make Spidey kill her on sight if I could. I mean for crying out loud canonically she at some point meets Arcade who is a hero hit man. I'm pretty sure it would've been more fun to have her distract Spider-Man while Arcade set up multiple Murderworlds. A whole dlc that tied him in with Screwball would've have been too difficult. Then end with them in jail too. Or Arcade getting away and taunting Spider-Man that he'd be back. I think they tried to do too much then did too little. Still a fun game overall, but when my bro completed the game before me and I found out aunt May died I was like nope. If that's the end of the game I'm not really getting anything out of completing it other than the fact I completed it. Yay? I liked the Yuri missions, but yeah no conclusion to speak of. Also that little feature they added where characters will comment if you're out of breathe after fighting off enemies or while web swinging. Nice, wholesome little feature.

if they had removed stealth, and did all combat, you wouldve then complained that the combat sections r too many, and can get old quick...

Aah but here's the thing. Avengers did that style of combat very poorly. There are games that did it way better.
