    That's not Cornice - that's Scotties. And where was the 'drop in' - back up where you started.

      The cornice was above chair 3 in my day and you had to ski down then up as high as u could go then side slip to the top...u figure it out...I did it

      Scottie seemed a lot steeper back on the 70s - when the cornice really was a cornice with an over 20' beyond vertical drop in onto a near vertical slope for the first 20 - 30 yards.
      now they groom it. lol. and people feel the need to post this now intermediate run. that's another thing. now because everyone needs their participation recognition, how many levels of black diamond runs are there? talk about lowering the bar. the jump back then from intermediate to black diamond was literally a dangerous one.
