- Alright so I arrived at npesta's house yesterday for the gang meetup, and Technical got here today. Around 20 minutes after that this happened somehow. I don't know how nobody has done it in the last 2 years, it's not even one of the hardest wave challenges and I doubt it would place very high at all on the top 50 challenges list. Anyways, I'll be playing Ouroboros at the meetup and hopefully beating it.

Golden. After this, after all you've been through, I have to say something. About this. About how much this means. Ever since the beginning of this momentous journey, I know we all had some doubts as to whether or not you would do it. But here you stand. You've done the impossible, you've proven us all wrong. Today is the day you stuck it to them. You've had doubts yourself, I know of it. After all of those attempts and fails doubts flickered into your mind, but you cast them aside. You went into the next attempt, every time, even after the worst of fails. You got better and better, nailing the ball timings in your way, continuing to progress on such a momentous achievement. When I first met you I never would have dreamed you would have done something like this. I knew you were good, sure, but I could never have seen this one coming. As we grew closer over the year we've known each other I learned something about you. I learned that you were sometimes quick to give up. They got to you, didn't they? All the people who told you that you sucked, that you didn't deserve it, they got to you, over time. They said such harsh things, things that can really demotivate people. They said things that I'm sure they would be too cowardly to say to your face. Things like, "You don't deserve your subs", or, "You're too garbage to beat anything that actually matters". They wore you down, yes, they wore you down into thinking you couldn't beat anything. Over the year your motivation wavered before dropping entirely. But with the help of those who care about you, you overcame them. Months had passed, but it didn't matter, you were back. You could do anything. And so you began the long, arduous journey to prove something. To beat a level no one had even dreamed you could beat. To beat a level that made most shiver and run like the cowards they are. All your haters couldn't even begin to comprehend the difficulty of this level. I still remember the first progress you made, yes, I'll never forget it. The comments varied, to be sure. Some supported you in this insane journey, to give you the motivation you needed. Some opposed you, said you weren't good enough, said you would finally burn out once and for all. But you were determined, determined to rise above them. The grind continued, the grind to prove something you know you needed to prove. The runs you started to produce were out of anyone's expectations. As your attempt count rose, so did your consistency, and most importantly, your determination. You streamed more and more, continuing on your quest to prove something, something the community could now very clearly see you were trying to prove. Things were looking good, almost perfect. The haters lessened their hateful screeching. Just when things couldn't get any better for you, you made it to the 50% ball, blowing everyone's minds. I remember where I was when I heard about it. I was out, eating dinner with family, about to enjoy a nice burger when my phone exploded. I got messages from all over, telling me that you had progressed in such an amazing way. I nearly spat out my water. After dinner I rushed on my computer so we could talk. You were so happy, you continued to prove that you could do this, you continued on your quest to prove something. The grind continued, but you had hit a rough spot. I remember all the nights we spent talking about it, as I'm sure you do as well. You weren't getting anywhere, and it had been a long time since you had made massive progress. Doubt once again was beginning to stir, and the both of us wondered when the sweet relief of progress would come. There were many nights I only got a few hours of sleep, as I was trying to make you feel better. Your streams slowly turned stale, and your motivation dipped, and dipped, until we all wondered if the fateful day would come at all. That is, until one day. I had overslept by a few hours and was very interested to find that I had well over 100 discord notifications. I obviously wondered what had happened, and it didn't take long to find out. You had got 78. I couldn't believe it, I had to read the DM I got from you multiple times to even believe it was real. I muffled a scream in my pillow. The video was so inspiring it almost brought a tear to my eye. After all that grinding, after all that doubt, you had made progress, and there wasn't that much that was even left. You were going to do it one way or another. And the community knew it. The comments section was filled with thousands upon thousands of supportive comments, the haters barely showed their faces. Your quest to prove something was almost over. After all those attempts, after all of those streams, it was finally coming to a close. The next few days, we were ecstatic. Our calls were lively and our optimism was limitless. Your motivation soared once again, to the point that I even wondered if it had ever dipped in the first place. It was powerful, it was radiant. It inspired all of us. Streams, once again, had vigor to them. People were showing up by the hundreds to wish you luck, so many that I remember you and I being rather taken aback. You were once again powerful, you were once again unstoppable. The grind once again started to become tiring but the streams never lost their enthusiasm. There was always this quiet optimism that carried every stream to its grandiosity. It would only be a few more days. Your consistency was already growing to impossible levels. But one day in specific, it was better than others. One day felt stronger. One day felt better. One day. The stream started out small, smaller than normal, making some concerned that once again the hype was fading. But after a few hours your consistency showed itself to be impossibly strong that day. People told other people, who told other people, that this stream might be the one. Your average fails were beginning to become impossibly far into the level, one of which even tying your record. The stream was HUGE at this point. And then, the attempt came. The attempt that would finally end your quest to prove something. The attempt that would make the haters quit their constant nagging. The attempt that would ultimately make you one of the most respected to ever play this game. The chat seemed to realize early on that this attempt was special. You began to get far, REALLY far, passing 78. The chat went nuts. Everyone was holding their breath. Would this be it? Everyone got shaky as the percentage climbed. And then, with one graceful motion, you clicked the orb in the ship, and glided to victory. Your journey had come to an end. Your journey to prove something was over. The journey to prove your dignity.
Congrats to anyone who reads all of this guy's life story, I failed.
