BO3 Zombies felt great to play, it had so many of the OG zombie maps that you can’t really hate on it either
You can easily dislike it. It really heavily pushed the trend of making shit overly complicated in order to progress.

I fucking love BO3. It was so good and watching this was just nostalgic. Of course BO1 and MW3 will always be my absolute favourites but BO3 is a top 4 game easily.

3:27 - with the current version of the client there is no adjustment for fovscale, just fov (gun and world models), so hopefully in future versions it'll be implemented so you can get it to match to your fov and not make it feel as drastic when zooming in from 120 fov to default fov while ads'd!

Yeah and lets be honest. That legit hasn't happened since the 2010s. With BO4 they got them off going back for the most part. People don't understand how bad cod is rn for this to happen. Cod wasn't even bad back then either. BO2 was just so loved.

FIX For Unlocks!
Disable all your stat edits from the stats menu. Best bet is to delete the "players' folder and start over from there.
Basically the problem is that TECHNICALLY you didn't unlock the locus with the tokens, and in BO3, if you don't own the weapon, challenges do not track (this isn't an issue with DLC guns since they don't need tokens to unlock).

If you play any zombies map, make it origins, its simple, but just complex enough to make it fun every time, mob is probably the second best option or the first depending on who you ask, but its a lil more confusing and complex at times
Mob and Origins are definitely not good starters. Too complicated, but when you're experienced they are the bests. For starters I'd say Kino, Der Riese, Ascension. And to get prepared for Origins, play Der Eisendrache.

Jev all the bo3 zombie map Easter eggs are super hard and complex in the best and most fun way, you would absolutely ducking love it, not only that but all Easter eggs have an overarching story that’s slowly revealed through each one, only thing is I believe a few (atleast 1 for sure) requires 4 players. Either way you should definitely try the Der Eisendrache Easter egg, I think the whole audience would love that
Der Eisendrache is peak zombies, so I would absolutely go for that one if you’re looking for a zombies map to play

Hearing Jev considering playing BO3 zombies is something I never would've imagined a few years ago. Gotta thank Cold War for getting him into the gamemode honestly, I don't know if this is an indication of boredom with MWII or if he's really just interested in zombies now, but I'm still hyped either way. I highly recommend you start with the giant map. Its simple and welcoming to new and casual zombies player and the perfect way to get hooked.
Honestly the BO3 Zombies map I'd suggest is The Giant, it's still simple enough for Jev to figure stuff out but there is that BO3 feeling to it

Getting all the bows in der eisendrache and doing the easter egg solo is still one of my favorite cod memories. I highly recommend playing that map. Best zombies map imo

48 Dredge was an amazing lmg. 6 round burst that one tapped with each burst, was my favorite gun to use in multiplayer and zombies.
Most entertaining mod ever made and the special weapons later released are the most memorable.
