@@AngieMeadKing Still though, if we remember why Porsche Carrera GT has such nerve wracking vibe not just because of price or crazy fear in parking but : Jay Lenno was having trouble flipping one 180 degree turn almost rear crush it on a concrete wall during his first testing sessions in a closed circuit, Paul Walker died in one as passenger RIP, Damon from DDE - sold his CGT almost had a rear suspension collapse while in driving.. and the sound of it is straight to Nikki Lauda F1.. No doubts when she went under the bridge with a little throtle the engine tune screaming was so amplified just like old F1 cars, if i should be ever offered to drive one, i would instantly had permanent goose bumps and all my body hair would stand up on me looking like a wild-hog-hedge.. this is one of those cars that is that scarry !

Angie, thanks for that. I know Emelia can drive, but i was also smiling with butterflies in my stomach. Reminds me of my 1994, 964 3.6 turbo. Not the same, but still eviscerating.

You need to be extra carrefoul with the clutch in this car. Is the weakest part of this car, alot of owners complaint on the internet about this.

Been following Emelia for probably 6 or 7 years now . Love your CGT , i'm a big 928 person , have owned over 50 of them . My last 928 is a rare 928SE i'm still finishing it off , i was lucky enough to get the wreck of the last ever 928CS that was made and combine the 2 as they share the same SP stamped block. I'll have to sell it though as my health has been going south since my brain surgeries a few years ago .

Ferrari F40 is late 80s. I remember my brother walking on the porch where I was sitting and he had a car magazine showing the F40 hit 201 MPH and we were awed. 😁

The CGT is the best car ever for the driving experience based on what I’ve heard because I’ve never had the opportunity to drive one YET. But people say it’s an awsome car to drive because it doesn’t work you to death in traffic and when do get to punch it all the power you want is there. It’s extremely cool looking and more comfortable than most super cars.

I hope they go to the Philippines to deliver the car for you, or at least drive someday there with you. I worked in the firearms industry for decades and spent time in the Philippines in that regard. I live just outside of Detroit and was lucky enough to see one of these at a car meet. There is this yearly event called the Woodward Dream Cruise where I saw this CGT parked on display. Around Detroit you rarely see any supercars at car meets, much less such an iconic car as the CGT. So I parked my 77' Stingray to check it out. I got to talking with the owner about cars. Showed him my resto mod 77' with a blown LS pushing 780 to the wheel. He liked it so we took each for a ride. It's an amazing car, so much faster than I expected. Definitely faster than my car, to my disappointment. He did stall it twice, and I gave him a hard time. He blamed it on the CGT clutch, that all CGT's are the same? After watching this I'm not so sure. She didn't seem to have an issue, so I wonder was it the driver or does the CGT really have a touchy clutch? I never got the chance to drive it, just went for a ride.
It's actually not that complicated to use the clutch but then again I drive manuals all the time also
@@AngieMeadKing I would have loved to have a chance to drive that car. I've owned second cars all my life, all manuals. Even did some dirt track racing in my late 20's and early 30's. I did drive my cousin's Porsche a few times, and that was a stick. I can't imagine a CGT is that much different than his car. I didn't have a problem. Drive a Porsche like it's a Porsche 😁

It's not just a manual transmission supercar, for those who don't know much about it, let me explain:
- has a na = natural aspirated V10 F1/ LeMans prototype engine (this engine was developed first for F1 than for LeMans prototype class
- this clutch it's a racing version that's way it's expensive and complicated
- this car was developed as a LeMans prototype but modified for the road that's way it's "not safe "
- Porsche offered special track classes for the first owners
- this car is made for racing drivers
- and I'm sure this will go so much up in value because of i wrote, is much more important peace of history than the F40, F40 needs a an engine or v12 because otherwise to rough 😊
