Until We Have Faces is my all-time favorite Red album. "Hymn for the Missing" introduced me to the band. God used "Watch You Crawl" to help give me the strength (HIS strength) to fight literal demons that tormented me for a year and a half after an incident on a mission trip in high school. To this day, it's still my battle cry. I actually met Mike when Red came to Liberty in November of 2018 and got to tell him that. It was amazing. (I mean the entire concert no kidding changed my life, but that was the icing on the cake!) "Faceless" hits me hard on my bad days, when I'm crying out to God just to give me the strength to breathe through the next five minutes. "Feed the Machine" is currently my pump-up jam for a haunted maze I'm working in; it fits the story we're telling perfectly and I know I will have so many fond memories of that song once November rolls around. It will always make me smile. (And it was MIND BLOWING live!) But "Not Alone"... this song makes me want to cry. I have cried before listening to it, when circumstance and depression have made me feel so alienated and alone that I feel like I'm drowning. When I felt so unloved by everyone around me I didn't know where to look. In college, it gave me prospective when almost my entire friend group turned their backs on me, and when I was suffering through emotional abuse and a stalking case at the hands of one of these "friends". I could trust no one, but I knew I had you guys and your music. Red has always been a safe place to crash for me, and its because you guys are so real with us in your lyrics. I wasn't surprised when I saw some of these notes saying that God used your music to save people's lives. In many ways, it saved mine. "Look up and see Love has a face." It does, and it's the face of Jesus. God used you guys to remind me of that. I can't thank you enough. I hope I get to see you all again!
I lost my dad when I was 9. I am now 20. Songs like this always remind me that God is in our lives and now he is living eternally in Heaven. I pray for the best for you. Having God in your life makes coping a lot easier.

Ok, so I discovered Red in 2009 when "Breathe Into Me" was being played on XM Octane. I had only listened to a handful of their songs until about 3 months ago, then I discovered the album "Until We Have Faces" and I've not stopped listening to it ever since. The song "Not Alone" makes me cry every time, because when I first listened to it we had just put my dad in memory care for his dementia and it makes me think of him because neither me, my mother nor him will ever be alone...thank you Red!!!!!

When we're in tough situations, we really need to know someone is loving us right at that moment and that sentence isn't just metaphorically beautiful but it's 100% the privilege we have as sons and daughters of God all because of our Savior, Jesus. Reading some of these broke my heart and I found myself thinking. 1:22 and 1:27 hit the hardest and made me cry because they reminded me of a break down I had in the middle of school a few years back. Friends were messing around and saying the usual jokes but they were painful that day and I felt like nobody cared while I cried because they didn't do anything. One of them realized and stopped and asked what was wrong - if he could do anything. All I did was say my best friends name and he went running. Barely a minute later, my best friend was hugging me and calming me down. She had left in the middle of class to help me and she stayed with me until my mom took me home 20 minutes later. I felt guilty for making my perfect student best friend ditch class for me but she said it was worth it. This song came to me like many others in a very difficult time in my life, I had just buried my cousin of only 29 years, and then a week later lost my best friend to a car accident. Things started to spin for me then came along this song with the words and feeling that helped pull things back together, I am very grateful for this. It has been a few months now and I still listen to this everyday.
i just have to let u now that at the 2013 winter jam in little rock arkansas, red and all 3,500 people stoped for 30 mins talking about u and praying for ur mom and u, it was hard for me not to cry in front of my friends but 2 minutes later i teared up and so did they, as soon as i seen ur comment i teared up again cuz i remember everything from that night, trust me man, ur not alone.

I love this song. One time riding home from school. I heard it. And ever since then. I always tried finding the damn song. Because it was such a beautiful song. I found it one night when my father and mother were fighting. I cried listening to the song over and over. I live the song, because well. it always has made my day go by. No one cares to talk to me. I'm disappointed that this band is underrated but glad at same time considering the fact that Red is having it's impact on many lives around the Globe. This particular song is my favourite,helped me overcome 2020.
I remember the first time listening to this song... I was sitting in the back of my car, and just started bawling my eyes out. I was feeling so left out, empty and under appreciated and remembered the days of battling with depression in high school. Such an amazing ballad and it’s a song that is very dear to my heart.

i love this song so much. it reminded me that, not only is there Someone up above watching out for me, i still have so much to be thankful for. i have family, friends and my significant other always there to help me. the first time i heard this song, i was going through a lot and, hearing the lyrics, my heart swelled and my eyes watered because it was a beautiful reminder we are never alone; we have God, our family, our friends and our significant other!

I am religious, but this song impacted me outside of my religious beliefs. This song helped me realize that I can only do so much to help others, and that I should give more than I take. Support all those I hold dear to me with a loving hand. Allow people to come to me for their problems and let me be the person they can come to and let all their pain out to, and to allow me to connect and be there for them in their struggles. I am only 17 years old, but went through all the pain and sorrows any person my age can realistically experience. Bullying, divorcing parents, family loss, unfair oppression, depression, anxiety, and suicidal thoughts. I wanna tell those who come to me what I have experienced. As a way to show them, I can empathize with what they are going through, and can show them they are NOT ALONE, and that they can pull through and that I will be with them every step of the way.
My life has gone so far downhill these last 3 years of my life. I've wanted nothing more then to just *escape* and end the stress, the suffering and the pain. I felt useless, I was told I was useless, I was told I was too difficult to deal with, to be with, and that left me feeling alone and worthless. I just went through i hard but clean break-up, I loved her a lot, but it didn't work out, and while it was hard, I was okay and on my way to healing. I found out she started to date someone 2 weeks after we broke up, and a guy who tired to break us up a while ago.
