I felt the exact same way reading Masters of Death! I hated the first 150 pages and was so confused, then all of a sudden it snapped together and I couldn't put it down and was upset when it finished. so good!
I loved this video!!!! The atlas six was the first book I read by Olivie Blake and I was hooked. A lot of people find the atlas six to difficult to understand so it’s rare to find others who have actually enjoyed it. So this video makes me so excited!! I need to read her other books.
rewatching this since the first time i watched it forever ago bc they had a bunch of copies of alone with you in the ether at my goodwill and i immediately thought of you and had to buy it !!! love you xx
i bought masters of death and started it the next day, and dnf'd it that same day because i wasn't fully emersed in the world of it and was SO confused. however, i think this video has given me a reason to start it over and give it another chance because it sounds like such a beautiful book with a great meaning.
I’m really enjoying your reading vlogs. They’re so entertaining for me. Post more often. I’m looking forward to your videos. ❤ Btw I like your new tattoo.
I love your channel. Can I give you a suggestion? If your trying to build your channel with the goal of getting sponsors I would not keep swearing. Sponsors will not want that kind of language and they look at your previous videos. Just something you may want to think about,
i have just brought Masters Of Death and have Atlas Six (which has been on my tbr for a while) think they are going to be my next reads and might pick up the others too. loved the video!xx
Olivie Blake posts on RUclips under “olivie Blake is not writing” and I am obsessed, def check it out. She feels like once in a life time type of author and I will read anything she puts out. Loved your vid it was so fun and cute
Hiiiiiii I just finiswhed alone with you in the ether and I am so beyond obsessed with Olivie Blake's writing. Youre right that at first it kinda can come of pretentious but I never want to read any other style ever again. I'm not huge into sci-fi, fantasy, paranormal, so I'm debating on the trilogy, but just bought "One for my enemy" audiobook. DO you know of other authors that have a similar writing style, or a book you found similar to "alone with you in the ether", I loved the mental health aspect, I liked the "deep" hexagon and bee's and time talk. I love math too lol, so are there any other authors I should look at? I haven't ever read a book that took some thinking and where I had to look up words, and I loved that. I loved that you had to kinda chew on what you read along the way. Love your reviews and just subbed!
All books SHOULD be the same height!! Speak your truth!!
