I bought the version without the strap. It is slightly cheaper, very slightly larger, and has an extra zipped internal pocket. It only has one handle, so I then got a conversion set from Amazon (the hooks and strap version). I bought this colour, but this bag works out so well for me that I also bought the brown version. If they go on sale at any point, I'll also get the khaki green one. I love them. I'm currently on crutches and this bag is so lightweight. It's the perfect small, light crossbody for if you've got no free hands. It's also quite a TARDIS. It can hold much more than you think. Plus, the same conversion kit can move between the bags without harming the leather! Thanks for your review.
I thought the Le Pliage Energy line is made fron recycled polyamide canvas rather than leather. They also have removable straps. Well, as far as the ones I've seen. 😬
