In my personal opinion, tires are better if you prioritize running performance. As you said, the caterpillar does not have much grip. I haven't tested tires and caterpillars in muddy water yet. Das ist sehr wohl wichtig zu sehen, das ist nämlich der absolut- Vergleich, wer seine Kraft besser übertragen kann bei voller Auslastung, wenn man zum Beispiel einen steilen Hang hoch fährt, die nötige Kraftreserven zu haben. Genauso wie auf schlechtem Untergrund die Traktion unter Last der jeweiligen Fahrzeuge zu bestimmen. Schließlich reizt man sehr oft im Gelände die Fahreigenschaften des Fahrzeugs komplett aus.
The TRX4 would have won the turning test if you did not have those stupid traxx on it plus it probably would have won tug of war so the traxx were made loose conditions it could have made it up the hill but overall great video

Try in sand now that's normal for tracks to spin more on road since they're made for loose conditions but great video
