I had a lot of fun guessing which game was coming up based on how you were introducing them! Super fun format to not reveal the title until after giving us some hints/background
I tend to circle back to the same few cozy games over and over because I apparently have fairly high expectations for my cozy games, plus I don't usually pick up games super early in their development so there's not a single game in your top 10 that I've played yet haha. Fields of Mystria is definitely on my list of games I plan to pick up when it goes on sale, though, so I've got that to look forward to! At the moment though, even though it released in 2023 Paleo Pines is still holding my attention even after putting in over 100 hours. I really love the dinos, I think it's a unique mechanic for a farming game and they're just so cute!
Glad to hear you enjoyed Fields of Mistria, The Plucky Squire, and Echoes of Plum Grove! I look forward to all of these! I really enjoyed your 100 Days of EoPG! I just got into the cozy gaming genre this past summer thanks to finding your videos so I don't know if I've played 10 cozy games this year but let's see: 1. Balatro 2. Wylde Flowers (only started this year!) 3. Dorfromantik 4. stitch. 5. Suika Game 6. Europa demo! 7. A Short Hike 8. Tavern Talk 9. Fall of Porcupine 10. Moonstone Island
Persona 5 is my favorite RPG of all time. She would probably like the dramatic cutscenes, turn based battle system, and the fact that social relationships help your team in battle AND have romance options. I played the original but I haven't finished Royal but I imagine it is great too. If she is getting more into turn based RPGs, she might also like Persona 3, Persona 4, or Persona 5 Tactica. Persona 5 Tactica is similar to Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle. If you haven't played that as well, then I recommend that one too 😅 I think it might be difficult to go back to Persona 3 and 4 if you play Persona 5 first.
The love island reference for love ghostie is hilarious 😂. I have a game to recommend for cozy gamers it’s called To Pixelia and there’s a demo out for the game. I feel like they’re so underrated and wanted to express some love for the game ❤❤
my cozy gaming has been skyrim. It has farming, fishing, romance, you can aggressively pet dragons... I'm looking forward to the full release of luma island. The demo has me chomping at the bit.
I was interested in Plum Grove but the amount of death put me off :p I bought Bandle Tale but haven't played it yet. I played the Love, Ghostie demo and can't WAIT to get the full game! I would also like to play Plucky Squire someday. LOZ EOW is SO fun and my daughter and I are both enjoying it. I'd really like to play Fields of Mistria someday. The game I'm most looking forward to playing this year is Amber Isle.
25:55 yeah, omg the soundtrack of bloom town different story is just NEXT LEVEL! I mean I honestly every time I play I have the sound that plays during battles, stuck in my head for DAYS after the fact! 😂😂 it’s just soooo darn good! I love it, and I love that game! I’m 15 hours in and only like MAYBE a little over half way through the game (I have 3 sections of town I haven’t unlocked yet). Though, I DO complete ALL side quests, so obviously I’m sure I’d be way more ahead in the game if I didn’t like to complete all aspects of the game :) it’s just an really great game, and honestly I don’t like turn based games, even though I like cozy games, in terms of combat games I MUCH rather a “button masher” lol because in very stoooopid 😂 and sometimes it frys my brain to think about what “moves” to make and, in this game, what spells to use, HOWEVER, I love this game so much that I can tolerate the combat 😂. But no, really, the game is great, story so far is amazing and wayyy darker then I thought at first lol, but I am really enjoying it!! I haven’t played little known galaxy yet but I really want to! I might have to!! AND I’ve been in the fence about buying coffee caravan and now I think I have to after this video lol
I’m honestly so surprised sunhaven nor moonstone island made your list you talk about them so much, but I want to play echoes of Plum Grove soooo badly! I just keep thinking it’s going to come to switch so I haven’t picked it up yet. It’s like the perfect travel game for me. Fingers crossed!
I wanted to play Little Known Galaxy but was too deep into other stuff when it came out so I’ve not picked it up yet. But I was also wondering why there wasn’t more of a buzz around this?
What are YOUR favorite cozy games of 2024?

Wow! Thanks for picking out Little-Known Galaxy as one of your favs! I loved Echoes too and the EA of Snacko. So adorable. 💕

My #1 for the year no contest and I can’t see beating is Fields of Mistria.

Payton, if you like Bloomtown, you need to try the Persona series, especially Persona 5 royal. You're gonna have a blast.

I came here to make sure someone had already said this! No cosy game so far has come close to the wonderful experience of Persona 5 Royal! 🩷
honored that Love, Ghostie made this list!! 😭🥺
I loved watching you play echos of the plum grove!
Same here, it’s crazy 😂
Same, I can't wait to get/play it but hope it's not nearly as chaotic as Payton's playthroughs 😅

I'm so glad you added echoes!!! I feel like it's so underrated ❤❤❤
Fields of Mistria is so good. I think it has spoiled other farming games for me
Such a great list Payton - so many unexpected games actually, which was really refreshing!! Looking fabulous by the way 🥰

I'm looking forward to the full release of luma island. The demo has me chomping at the bit.
So tempted to try fields of mistria !
It’s a great game but where it’s in early access you have to stop unfortunately
Amber Isle might take the cake for me this year ngl. I love me some cute dinos

Can you please start mentioning if games you review are multiplayer or single player please!♥️

@@jackalantyrn both of those games came out last year that’s why they are not on here 💕
LOVE this kind of videos ❤❤❤
Coffee caravan looks really good 👍
I think I’m going to check on coffee caravan. Looks like it’s on switch.
I wish little known galaxy was on switch 😭😭
I wanted to play Little Known Galaxy but was too deep into other stuff when it came out so I’ve not picked it up yet. But I was also wondering why there wasn’t more of a buzz around this?
You are so vibrant
Are any of these on the switch 🥲
@@Anaieseart yes I list what platforms they are on at the start of each segment
@@PaytonsCorner thank you! I guess I wasn’t paying enough attention 😭
Have you ever played Persona? I heard people compare Bloomtown with it :)
I haven’t yet but it’s been HEAVILY recommended to me now that I’ve played Bloomtown!
Does anyone else have the problem where Magical Delicacy just doesn’t show up on the steam deck store? 😭😭😭
Make sure you uncheck the box that makes it so only verified games show up!
