If you're voting for Joe, you're merely voting against Trump, which is reason enough to vote for Joe. But it's not exactly a vote for Democracy. Democracy would have seen the DNC holding full 50-state + DC primaries, not putting its full foot on the scale for the incumbent, and letting Democrat voters choose the candidate they preferred among a coterie of candidates with equal chances. (And, if that ended up being Biden in the end, that would have been a proper democratic process.)
Thinking that the party elites have any desire to beat Trump is delusional. Living in DC myself and working with these people, I can attest: They trash-talk each other on Meet the Press, then go out for mimosas together afterwards. The party elites made out like the bandits they are under Trump, and they're looking to profit from him again. If they were serious about beating Trump, they wouldn't be backing Biden. It's not logical.
As an African-Grenadian-Antiguan it is extremely difficult for me to understand why Democrats are making a decision on one bad debate.

It’s not one debate and people need to stop. If you are going through the whole saga of Trump and then Biden’s presidency… Biden should have not the nominee. The party put us in a bad situation and the people have been rejecting him for at least 18 months now. Many said they would vote for Biden because Trump is not ( or shouldn’t be) an option. But the Democratic Party should not have forced Biden onto everyone and gambling that they would accept him for fear of Trump. That’s Biden’s whole campaign pitch and folks are rejecting him still. Dems just couldn’t hide/ force the age thing anymore after the debate performance. So this narrative about “one debate” falls on deaf ears to many people. Young ppl & men are not falling in line.

The DNC canceled the primaries and debates so there would be no challenger. The campaign passed over on the Super Bowl interview (free press) he was kept from doing interviews and press conferences. His cognitive abilities have been a concern since the primaries 2019.

I've always known that Joe Biden was old but felt comfortable because I knew that as Vice President, Kamala Harris could step up if needed. Mass media refuses to cover that. Think about it... a lot of heavy hitters , including major news broadcasting stations, are financially backing this Project 2025. Which, while I'm on the subject, I believe was the reason why the debate moderators kept their mouths shut during all of Trump’s lies and didn't fact check anything. I believe higher ups told (or threatened) them not to do it. So they're gonna do EVERYTHING possible to water down their felonious former POTUS's track record. Karen’s listeners are educated so this statement should resonate. It’s a fallacy to think that all the democrats have to do is choose a new candidate. There are multiple other steps that can’t be avoided. For example, once a new nominee is chosen, that nominee must be placed on the ballot in 50 states. Even if there was widespread consensus on one nominee by the democrats, how would the Democratic Party secure that persons place on the ballot in all the red states controlled by republicans? The democrats would have to go to court and the nominee may be called to testify in the various states. How would that happen while the person also needs to campaign. And of course the republicans would appeal every decision and the case would have to go to the corrupt US Supreme Court. And all that would have to take place in September and October. The democrats are traveling at light speed on a fools errand toward defeat by telling voters not to vote for Biden.
But the other part is that I have yet to hear any notable democrats talk about Kamala being the replacement which means they are afraid to say that out loud because the truth is - they don’t want her either.
If anyone can refute the reality with a viable strategy, I am all ears.

I would hope not. I agree that it is not advisable to allow actors, entertainers to think for another. We should carry that burden ourselves.
I do base my decisions on what I hope is valid information, and scrutiny of my own deductions.
That said it is valid to denote that Clooney basically admitted that even though he detected the mental decline of Biden he pushed a major effort to secure funding. So others also knew and it is well known of his connect with former president Obama.

I've been saying this all along. What this guy is saying is truly what it's all about! These guys don't care one iota for the country or for democracy, and truly haven't, at least since JFK.
