I know this is an old video but-- you said your legs were sore after the tram. We’re planning on going right from the airport- is there a lot of walking involved?
Hi! Hopefully this isn't coming too late. It's all dependent on what you want to do once you get to the top. Watch the portion of the video when we went on the tram; it might help give you a better idea. The tram itself is just a ride up to the top and down; but once you're at the top, there are multiple trails (pretty much like hiking) that you can take. Some parts were steep, but man, it's so worth it! Hope you went! It was one of my favorite things we did!
