wow, what's with some of these comments?? I used to love watching extreme weightloss. Chris seems to have a good heart and has helped a lot of people. hopefully he can refocus on his career now and start a new chapter post-divorce. I don't think he's gay, just seems a little less sure of himself from battling anxiety. besides even if he is gay, that's no one's business.

Well women usually initiate what 60 percent of divorces also he probably didn't stay in this masculine frame and over what time broke him down into being a beta male, therefore lost respect for him. Richard Cooper has said stuff like this

I can't stand the comments below. I have been following him for some years. He and his ex wife were really a duo and worked well together in the company. Suddenly she didn't want to get married anymore. It broke his heart and his family would broke apart. That's normal to get really sad and maybe get into depression? Her first husband helped Chris going through hard times too. So he must have understood him (if you know what I mean) Three weeks ago, she broke up with Dave and now Dave passed away. If I read his previous wife (Rachel) post and his last insta post and his podcast. He seems to be very sad and fighting against his sadness/his own depressions.
The men are too nice to her. If you have seen how she kept posting post with her EX while her exes tried to recover from her breaking up with them. I hope she learned her lessons and not start a relation again or that man fall for her.

I personally think that anyone who throws themselves into fame, fortune and public scrutiny will eventually find themselves in depression.

This is a trainer marketing a new podcast- nothing more. PR agents recommend this all the time. They learned from Phelps. Depression sells because it is a huge market. X,Y,Z, I was sad, so buy my book, my course, etc. Depression is far more complex than what this pretty boy gym rat is suggesting. Also, beware of any label a shrink tries to put on you. You will believe it and you will take their drugs- then you are done. I've read many books on this topic including one by a famous Harvard Researcher. In most cases, drugs are just temp. band aides with sometimes lasting horrific side effects like TD. There are always side effects. I would never take them. Exercise and diet, good social connections are all most people will ever need. Be very careful to reach for a therapist- many will intentionally lead you down a path to addiction. They will make you believe you are worse than you are. I got a concussion- my neuro tried telling me I had anxiety. I did not and refused his harmful drubs. Turns out I never needed anything but diet and exercise and time. People believe docs too much. Most are just drug sales people- you can trust this. ER and Ortho to a lesser extent. We need good docs. Most shrinks got into psych because they were depressed themselves and sought answers- that they still do not have. Think about it.

Very interesting comment. When I was going to therapy she showed me how to lift myself out of a dark place. She was like a cheerleader until I could be one for myself. She encouraged me to get outside and move. It was a very different experience than what I thought it would be. She didn’t play into my issues but acknowledged them and helped me focus on a bright future.
As for this guy, I also immediately thought “good PR tactic”.

@@Dollsanity Glad it worked for you. Hope you are not a vegan. That can be part of your issue. The brain needs healthy fats- no 2 ways around it- sorry. Hopefully you are off ALL meds, if safe to do so. Serotonin is made in your digestive tract- gut health is impacted poorly by meds. Exercise and happiness is a reverse correlation. Not saying it can't help- I think it can, but mostly happy people work out. If you are sad, you will likely lack the motivation to keep going. Then some feel worse- yet another failure.
I hope you are finally in a good place. I suggest you read BRAIN ENERGY or do the audible version. It was a great book and I learned a lot. The Body Keeps the Score is another great one. I liked Plant Paradox too.
