This is the average from the initial point until the maximum height. At the initial point, the y-component of the velocity is 50m/s. At the maximum height, the y-component of the velocity is zero. The average is (vi + vf)/2 = (50 + 0)/2 = 25m/s. Hope this helps!
Don't know if you saw my lesson on Inclined Planes, but from the standpoint of Newton's Laws rather than Kinematics. ruclips.net/video/XrPenCA0YMU/видео.html But if you can determine the net acceleration of an object on an inclined plane using Newton's 2nd Law, the Kinematics will be like any other Kinematics problem from there. 😊
