@@vitorf2303 24 inch 1440p is not well used and even made, especially with high refresh rate. But it's the best combo i seen for sharpness if 1080p is too blurry and 4K is a no go for someone's budget or small desk which was my case for both consideration. Yet 1080p screen can look really sharp with 1440p DLSS and added sharpness. And if i take my glasses of nothing actually matter anyway even 8K movies look blurry, that's what i learned at the store the other day 😂
In many situations 1080p makes a game more cpu bound using 1440p often forces the GPU to take over the load for what it’s good for. I play RTX 3060 on a 1440p 32 inches monitor. Especially when you can use DLSS it starts to make sense
@@MrMOGHammer Nothing makes much sense in regards to your choice to play on a 1440p 32" monitor. Learn about "ppi" (pixel density). Your monitor has a ppi of 93, the same as 1080p 24" panels. Bigger is not always better. 1440p at 27" has a ppi of 108. Of course you have a greater resolution compared to 1080p but the bigger the screen, the bigger will the individual pixels be and you lose clarity, sharpness and detail. It also forces you to sit further away for it to become retina.
Competitive gaming is different than recreational. 1080p is the perfect middle ground and what a lot of people play on/are used to. Back in the day people used to play Counterstrike on 4:3 720p settings and when it was migrated to CSGO, a lot of older competitive gamers still preferred the smaller resolution with slower mouse speeds. I do not think one is inherently better than the other I truly believe it’s personal preference. But objectively speaking the less pointless information your eyes have to comb through the faster you get on target. The brain is very adaptable however, and the new generation will be very accustomed to 1080p/1440p gaming.
Anyone still on a 24 inch monitor is a Pleb... Nobody needs anything above 144hz to 165hz, all those so called "Pro Gamers" are full of crap. Don't be bamboozled by the "Pro Gamer" BS hype, it's wrong. Pro Tip: only 2% of gamers are actually competitive, the rest are wanna be Plebs that got sold a load of garbage marketing. We ran off "Pro Gamers", right out of our servers, them squawking in chat that you need the highest possible refresh rate at 1080p or you can't compete. What a complete joke and those fools spend hundreds of more hours in game "practicing".. They got ran through harder than a Thai prostitute on a Friday night, their whole team jumping server, more than a few times.. Man I wish TWL leagues and rented servers were still a thing. 1440p, 27 inch monitors at 120hz to 165hz FTW... Every time

if only 23.8" 1440p 240Hz+ monitors were a thing MANY eSports players (and also the casual tryhards) would upgrade, some people just don't want 27"+ displays man...
THIS. A big problem is that there are no display manufacturers making those panels and the monitor manufacturers aren’t asking for them and I think that market is pretty small in general. But I do think now that our graphics cards are so much more powerful, professional players should consider high resolution monitors. It kinda dawned on me the other day perhaps a reason so many csgo and fps pros play so close to their monitor is because they play at low resolutions so having the the monitor in their face helps them make out important details while playing. I’ve started to thinking higher resolution might help with that issue and promote better/healthier habits and posture for competitive gamers.
Who cares about esport players. Let them play on their crappy high refresh screens. The rest of us will enjoy 27 inch 1440p which is a much nicer size and allows me to see objects in games.
@@portman8909I’m not an esports player but i do want a 1440p monitor on a tn panel which is almost non existent rn. I play rhythm games and the ips monitors I’ve had have mad ghosting, I’m seeing double notes on high bpm songs
1440p is the sweet spot, 27 inch is perfect for me, 32 still feels like a tv size… I picked up the MSI 272QPF for £230 from £300 and seems great (1440p 1ms 177hz) feels great I just find £400-£600 steep for what I need it for 👍

Playing on 1440p at good frame rates & good image quality require high end costlier gpus and high end processors. If you can afford RTX xx70 and above, i7 or Ryzen 7 and above, then go for 1440p. If anything below, then play at 1080p with max graphic settings on budget gpus like RTX xx60 with i5 newer generations or i7 older generations. Also, 1080p with ultra settings > 1440p with medium-high settings, in terms of both image quality and performance.
@canguyen1590 not ark ascended or plagues tale requim I tried unless I'm doing something wrong and I already had a 2k monitor def don't want to buy another for idk how many more frames considering it does my fps games fine at about 100 with dlss on with high setting to medium and lower setting at full quality and my eyes can't really see the difference in quality to performance that much
tho you do need a 70 series card, an i5 will do the job, no need for i7 for a 4070 lol. You probably dont even need the K version just the 400 is enough for most games.
@@canguyen1590 not so true, there are a lot of games where it cant get 60fps with high graphics, for comparison a 4060 ti doesnt get 60 fps on all UE5 games on ultra on 1080p. Tho for esport titles it will do the job.
Depending on the game and your rig, 1080 will allow for higher fps so in tandam with a high refresh screen will look nice and smooth. On the other hand 1440 will look sharper but you may have to lower the settings to keep the fps high enough to seem as smooth. Theres a sweet spot you need to experiment and find depending on your hardware. generally the pixels per inch on a smaller screen 1080 will still look fine. But in a 60" telly your gonna see them jaggys so youll want a higher res to increase the pixel per inch count. This is all generalisation though. Again, experiment. Honestly the bigger issue is oled over led. The vastly superior colour gamet, pixel response times and the blacks, oh lord have mercey the blacks on oleds will have a vastly greater impact on your viewing pleasure then resolution. Hell some games look great at 720 on most monitor size screens. Juggle and experiment kids, juggle and experiment.
im thinking about getting 1440p, im on 1080 360 hertz, and i want to keep playing 360 hertz and im not spending more than 400 on a new monitor, iont know what to do
I still use a high end 27” Asus 1080p panel from 10 years ago, and I absolutely still enjoy gaming on it. I use a Zotac RTX 3070ti card maxed to any game on a recently built i7 computer, and for the first time since I started gaming back in the 90’s my computer is pretty much dead silent, and I get to enjoy incredibly smooth gameplay with graphics maxed out. I’ll eventually move to 4k, but it’s not as important as you think.
4k 27" is not worth it. I ended up selling mine because i would usually play games at 1440p for more fps. At 27 inches, 1440p still looks good. If you want 4k then I'd recommend 32".
Trust me, it is as important as you may not think. Go ahead get a better monitor and don't lie to yourself, it is better, the same experience going from 60Hz to anything above.
Why buy a new 2K monitor to run games with low graphics settings? maybe it's better to buy 1080p but with a better matrix? For example, instead of TN, buy IPS or WOLFED and run games with high graphics settings. The user is encouraged to change the monitor to 2K in order to then change the hardware of his properly working computer, which would subsequently force him to buy more expensive hardware and bring more profit to the manufacturer? It's so disgusting, techno bloggers are not on the side of consumers but work closely in conjunction with manufacturers, because their income comes from advertising. And who pays the one and orders the music)
yes, so the optimal choice is to save money and buy a graphics card which at the same level or higher than rtx4060, and a 1440p 27" or 32" (24"?) monitor depends on preferences
@@_Red_Hand_ no lol, you should be able to pick what resolution and size you want, and not be forced to get a size you don't want just for the resolution.
How do opponents on apex look from a far distance? Currently I have a 1440p monitor but I get stutters at 1440p on Apex, and downgrading to 1080p on my monitor gives me a blurry image.
@@TechVibeReviews1 First of all, Apex doesn't run at 500hz so theres no reason to be on 1080p over 1440p. At the same refresh, 1440p is always better. Its just most of my games run at 500fps or more. 1080p is a bit rough if you don't have good eyesight and are used to it vs 1440p. Just get a 1440p 240hz panel and a 7800XT and you will be fine.
I got a 360hz ips 1080p 24,5” monitor running with a 4070super i play a lot of competitive games so performance and high refresh rates is always my goal. I recently found a 240hz 1440p monitor you guys would recommend upgrading? I did try 1440p but it was at 170hz felt a big difference in terms of smoothness and lag.
If not current gen, next gen of gpus will completely saturate 1440p, like 1080p has been for years. And with current 1440p144/160/180Hz monitor prices, it is as good a time as any to upgrade.
4k or 24" 1080p if you work / web browse / game interchangeably, 1440p is "strictly gaming" resolution as it has 0 benefits and only downsides outside of it, no content or movies has or will be made for 1440p, even consoles are 4k downscaled to 1440p for performance reason, there are 0 1440p tvs made in the world and never will be. All cinema content is either these past 30 years and 1440p makes 1080p content look horrible all due to down scaling, the actual "sane" option are either going 4k Mini Led / OLED and doing GPU integer downscaling for picture perfect 1080p content which is still 99% of the content in the world, or get a 24" 1080p monitor with as good contrast and vibrance as you can find which there aren't a lot but certinly some, 1440p is an inbetween resolution that is already outdated but don't say that on r/monitors or the teenagers will dogpile you to justify their purchase.
Yes and no, I would take 1080p 144hz over 1440p 60hz, but I would take 1440p 144hz instead of 1080p 240hz, don't understand the people that get 500hz 1080p monitors, get 240-360hz 1440p it's so much better.

I don’t see much of a difference either. I mean it’s better then 1080p quality wise but not big enough to say it’s amazing. Idk maybe I need a bigger monitor.
This is how I break down the whole 1440 v 1080 debate without complicated videos: You want a small gain in sharpness at the cost of FPS? Go 1440p You want a tiny bit less sharpness but gain a lot of FPS? Go 1080p
@@SnowySnails 1080p is using less gpu and runs more on the cpu therefore bottlenecking the gpu from using its max potential in simple terms. There is much more to it though.
I did upscaling multiple times on PC games, and on EMU, it was always the same as a medium jump. Even on vids shows it's not a big jump and pics show this too. I watched vids on my 4K TV and the jump isn't big like I said it's med. People even on forums say the jump isn't that big in games, PC, or console. Text is where it shows a big difference from 1440 to 4k, Unoptimised games struggle to run native 4K even with monster cards like a 3080-4090. That problem doesn't always happen with 1440p. I'm thinking of switching back to 1440. I have been using a 4K screen since last year. 1440 I had used for like 6 year's 4k has been frustration with unoptimized/demanding games even using high settings, stutter/dropped fps
1080p is future proof. Getting 1440p monitor is forcing you using native resolution unless blurry. And if you dont go with 1440p you dont miss anything, 1080p offers just as wow graphics
Future proof? 😂 Sorry no it doesn't offer just as "wow" graphics. EVERYTHING is better at 1440p. Color is far deeper. Trees, leaves, clothes all clearer and more detailed. It's not an opinion it's simply a fact. 78% is a HUGE leap. 1.78x actually. 1080p is the new 720p. It had it's time but GPUs have got so powerful that even budget ones run 1440p games above 60fps just fine.
I use a 32 inch monitor and I must say. You must at least have a 2k resolution, 1080p is not cut out for the 32 inch size. The pixel scattering is just not worth it. Let it be for gaming or artwork. 1080p is simply not a minimum requirement for 32 inch monitor. Btway I now run 32 curved 165hz ips. And I must say. You have to try higher than 60 75 herts monitor, its a whole different world. But once you get in. You cant go back. Feels like youre watching a 30fps speed while doing 60.
I just upgrade my monitor from 24” 1080p to 27” 1440p and kinda regret, I don’t see much difference in terms of graphics in gaming but quite suffer in performance. In Cyberpunk I have to turn on the frame generation with path tracing to get 60fps, I never use frame generation before in 1080p. In the desktop display yes it’s sharper, for example the wizard installer box become smaller and have more details, but not in game graphics.
@@Cules832 depends on the resolution of your video, if you watch 1080p in 2K display, not much difference from when you use the 1080p monitor. Upgrading from 1080 to 2K, I don’t recommend it, better stay with your 1080p for a while and if you have money to spare, go get a 4K monitor and 4070++ graphic card
I bought a 1440p and im going back to 1080p you lose so much performance by going to 1440p i mean if you have a i9 and a RTX 4090 1440p is no issues for you, but needing to really turn down graphic settings to medium or low turning some settings just off isn't worth the trade off sure it might look nice but losing that much performance is not worth it! what's the point of having 1440p if ur needing to turn graphics down to medium or low? :D
@@AlpineStarm7 True, and now my 1440p Only for browsing and netflix. I still use my 1080 since my GPU card is 4070Ti, it can't handle nowadays game with 2K in high setting
1080p above 1440p for me. Here's why (just to help people) 1) That expensive part really does it for me. Even IF you find cheap monitors/graphics cards, it'll be expensive enough and "once" you have 1440p, there is NO TURNING BACK! So expect expensive money wasting for ever... 2) Not to mention the games. Yes competive is 1 part of the gaming community, but people who are enjoying their single player experience, will have a greater time playing at 1080p. They would technically experience it even better with 1440p, however... This will "yet again" come at a very expensive experience, cause if you see starfield, you won't be able to get 60fps so easaly... 3) IPS... If you want a good monitor, people will need to go IPS which is expensive. VA is cheaper but too dark. 4) The vast majority still plays on 1080p as mentioned by yourself, and no we are not idiots xD. There are simply those of us who don't have money... So a good IPS 1080p144hz is still the better choice here... Unless it's 1080p360hz, and you want 300fps, yea, those are expensive and then by all means, it's better to go 1440p.
1440p 165hz monitors (like mine) are really inexpensive now (arpund £150 where i am) the PC hardware can be expensive. But realistically if you are going to build a pc nowadays. You are going to spend at the minimum between 700-1200£/$ which means you can afford an rtx3080 or rx6800xt which willl give you a more than powerful enough gaming pc to run literally any game at 1440p high fps except for wukong or something. As for me i have an i7-8700k and an rx6900xt
You're not an idiot. But if someone can afford a good monitor that can run 1440p, then obviously that's the SUPERIOR choice. for any 27 inch monitor, 1440p is better. But refresh rate is the most important
@@shimik11 it's worth it for the price. Once it's broken in at least in my unit. U can use overdrive extreme with very little ghosting. My one con is the color isn't that great for an ips, it doest pop enough. It's a good monitor though
Hey Display Guy, genuinely enjoy your humour and love how you vehemently abhor matte displays like I do. Can you do a video on monitors that you would actually recommend that are preferably glossy? Much appreciated.
also on games optimized not as well, if you dont feel like dropping your settings you can always render in 1080p in specific games with nvidia control panel
I have a 16 gig graphics cards and I'll stay at 1080p for quite a few reasons. My card will be a viable solution for a longer period being #1. I spent $400 to get frames is another big reason. 120 FPS vs 80 FPS. I am more "future proof" if my future stays 1080. Forza Horizon 5 at 1080p ultra uses 9 gigabytes of vram. Just trying to keep it real. If I go to 1440 I know what happens. 2 years my card is crap. lol
I'm the same. I'm creating a new first build atm and I honestly have no interest in doing 1440p but everyone seems to think I should get it. I'd rather have a smoother performance with a good pc build on 1080p then have to keep upgrading to get decent play from a 1440p
1440p is a lot different form 1080p is visible for me. and i want 1440p. i can't cuz im poor and literally have a TV for 2000-2005 that's not supported anymore that's probably 480p
I'm goong to upgrade soon... so for a rx 7700xt (it's almost 100$ discounted in my country), would 1440p be better? I'm not a competitive player, more like a casual player... but sometimes I like try harding in fortnite. So is it 1080p or 1440p ?
Im thinking of getting the same gpu i saw a few review and think 1080p ultra gaming at 7700xt is gonna feel better than 1440 p high gaming cause of the smoothness
I have a 1440p monitor and tried it out, it looks a bit blurry, you wouldn’t want to play on it, if the game supports it though you can change the render resolution to 1080p and it doesn’t look too bad. I tried it on cod and it almost looks the same as native 1440p, But changing the display resolution isn’t a great idea and better to stick to 1080 if that’s the case or if you’re worried about frames
@@brandoncurrens3388 what are you talking about are u saying 1080p quality is better then 1440p you dont need to change anything you just need to get 27 inch 1440p monitor lol
As someone who has played with both types of monitors, I can say that I do not like 1080p as much as 1440p or higher, 1080p is good for work use, higher is good for games like War Thunder, where you need to be able to see small vehicles from far distances. Some more "arcade-y" games don't require a high res monitor though, for example, games like Starscape, War Robots, Trailmakers, World of Tanks, or pretty much any game that either doesn't require being able to see objects from far distances, or gives a visual indicator of where the object is.

I used to have a 3.5 inch smartphone with a 480p display. I was like almost like 4-5 inches away from it sometimes and I couldn't care less about how clear the pixels are. Color accuracy and viewing angles are WAY more important as far as clarity goes. I have a 19.5 ish 1600 x 900 old ips display and I actually prefer it to some modern 1080p 21 inch ones cause it has really good colors. I am not a professional gamer but even if I could run 4k 120 in games I would still prefer even a 1080p 240 let alone 360hz. I personally want a 1080p display cause no game has scaling issues at that resolution. I can't really tell the difference between 1080p or heck 900p to a 1440p panel Also I agree that upscaling helps a lot with performance but guys, don't forget you can just play some of the older games on your backlog until new and faster gpus or just faster used ones come at a normal price so then you can play the then old game with ease... I have played on more expensive systems than what I own and I can say for sure that the game you play is way more important than the hardware you are running it with.
I really want utrawide as I prefer the visual enjoyment. But I'm worried about lag on ultrawide. Or should I just get 2560x1080 with high refresh rate. At the moment I have 2560x1080 but only 75hz which tares a little less than 60hz. I'm running 2070 super so might be pushing it to run ultrawide 4k
If you only care about visual and you got the money go for the ultra wide. You will get lag on the ultra wide. With that GPU running 4K. You probably get less than 60 FPS or even less. If I was you upgrade your GPU.
i have a 240hz 27 1440p monitor, i will say from my experience obviously it looks better especially at the size it is, but things like objects that are a medium distance away from my character become incredibly blurred in 1080p compared to 1440p
it's 1440p or higher OLED monitor, or 1080p LCD imho. they also sell 4k monitors at 27 and 28 inches now though, i haven't personally tested one, but i see them being sold now... the PPI on them is outrageous, though they are LCD, not oled, so pixel response times are a bit of an issue on those monitors.
I hope 4k gets ditched tbh. 4k is a console thing thats just marketing. 1440p 240hz 27 inchh is what i use. 1080p isnt even bad. It actually looks good. 1440p looks better. But 4k is just kinda like a small upgrade .im new to pc so im learning
1440P is absolutely not a waste. it's such a noticeable improvement, especially on something like a 27" panel and up. What IS an absolute waste of heat and energy is 4K.
1080p is the best if youre competitive. The reaponse time is the quickest and you get the highest frames on 1080p. Not to mention theres no extra shadows or grass or anything for anyone to hide in or anything. Nothing but a crisp clear imagine and insanly high fps and .5 ms response time
to me, if you have the money and you're someone who uses their pc daily, the upgrade is definitly worth it however, if you only spend limited time on your computer, and you play more in a casual way, stick to 144hz. its already really good
1440p is where its at honestly upgraded from a 1080p 144hz to a 1440p 360hz few months back and i could never go back currently still use the 144hz as my 2nd display and its actually kind of jarring how low 144hz feels now to me
I personally have a 1440p monitor with 31.5" and 165hz refresh rate. I am the type of person who wants my game to look nice. I'll turn down settings if I need to but if I get at least 100fps I'm all good
Dunno how people use 27' . I hv tunnel vision, tall screens need to make me move my neck and it hurts after a long time. I wish they had some gaming monitors that are like 24' tall and 27' wide, something like that.
Could anyone also take distance to the monitor in consideration? I’m sitting about 90 - 100cm’s from a 27” 1080p display. I’ve tried a 1440p 27” at the same distance, text seems clearer but gameplay in-game changes nothing except a lower fps counter. Still rockin’ it with a gtx 1080 ti🤘
Great video. Guys I’m trying to have the best competitive edge. I’ve never gamed on 1440p. But I have a rig capable of 1440p @ 360hz and 1080p @ 540hz. My last step is a monitor upgrade. Which is best for First person shooters and competitive edge. Thanks
ppl who say 1080p is good enough, are the ones don't want to spend extra money for 1440p. lol. if I can get at least 144hz on a 1440p, good enough. its a huge difference.

I just went from 1080 to 1440p and quite frankly, I'm pretty disappointed. Screen is way too big along with everything else on it, yes it's colourful as F*"* and I can head shot a lot easier, but my eyes got sore after one round. Probably great for single player games but those have died out on me after about 8 years... I reckon a good quality 1080p monitor is a way to go.
I can say atleast for battlefield 4k > 1440p > 1080p but for games like overwatch it doesn't make nearly as much of a difference. Using the LG 27" 1440p 240hz OLED currently
I am playing low settings in battlefield to get 120+ fps at 1440p. It feels good, but I think getting 4k and increasing settings to high will feel great.

Competitive gaming tag just needs dropping from the conversation the pro gamer bros/wannabes is like 10% of playerbase if that..most people rather run games to look good and modern not like a potato for an extra few FPS that isn't going to make any difference to there experience. Also with DLSS upscaling been as good as it is makes it a no brainer to upgrade your not even having to push any more pixels.

One aspect you didn't mention is FOV. You can fit 1080p better into your FOV. More of the screen will be near the center of the vision, which means less movement is likely to go unnoticed. This is why I believe 4K will never be competitive. To properly see 4K, you need to sit so close to the screen that you actually need to tilt your head to see the periphery. This is great for immersion but not so great for competitive gaming. I believe 1080p is the superior format for competitive as a result. 2K is great for the average gamer who wants decent immersion and competitive performance. 4K is for whales who just want to get lost in their screen. I speak as a person who owns 2k and knows the proper distance to sit from it. My screen fills my glasses and that's perfect for me. I doubt I will ever upgrade to 4K.
I've been running a 27'' 1440p 144hz monitor since Jan 2018. I bought it at the same time I bought my Vega 64 oc. While everything' like apps and icons are to small and hard to read unless you Increase the display settings %150. or run at 1080p anyways cause some older games the mini maps and Huds were even too small to be able to see.

Here's why (just to help people)
1) That expensive part really does it for me.
Unless it's 1080p360hz, and you want 300fps, yea, those are expensive and then by all means, it's better to go 1440p.
thank youuu i felt so ashamed for getting a 1080p monitor instead lol

@@JailaniJamaludin 15.6", no thank you.

What is wrong with matte displays ?
Clarity isn't as good with matte screens. I think that's a good video idea, specifically glossy ips 👌
Lol run 1440p at low settings or 1080p at ultra? Hmmm I wonder.
also on games optimized not as well, if you dont feel like dropping your settings you can always render in 1080p in specific games with nvidia control panel

Go for 7800xt if you want 1440p
Im thinking of getting the same gpu i saw a few review and think 1080p ultra gaming at 7700xt is gonna feel better than 1440 p high gaming cause of the smoothness
Will a 1080p video look worst on a 1440p monitor than a native 1080p monitor??
Yeah sure
I have a 1440p monitor and tried it out, it looks a bit blurry, you wouldn’t want to play on it, if the game supports it though you can change the render resolution to 1080p and it doesn’t look too bad. I tried it on cod and it almost looks the same as native 1440p, But changing the display resolution isn’t a great idea and better to stick to 1080 if that’s the case or if you’re worried about frames
@@brandoncurrens3388 what are you talking about are u saying 1080p quality is better then 1440p you dont need to change anything you just need to get 27 inch 1440p monitor lol

yes. it will look worse. the 1080 doesn't evenly go into 1440
As someone who has played with both types of monitors, I can say that I do not like 1080p as much as 1440p or higher, 1080p is good for work use, higher is good for games like War Thunder, where you need to be able to see small vehicles from far distances. Some more "arcade-y" games don't require a high res monitor though, for example, games like Starscape, War Robots, Trailmakers, World of Tanks, or pretty much any game that either doesn't require being able to see objects from far distances, or gives a visual indicator of where the object is.

So is it just in my mind that i think it looks better or is it a reality or what??
also i noticed(usually i never game on my tv w my older pc and mostly prefeer to use my new pc n pc screen) But when i actually sit down infron of my tv that are a 4K tv it is horrible to have the pc settings on 1080p and when i actually switch over to 4k the desktop shortcuts get very small(But the games looks extremly good+Colours are way better then my cheap 500euro pc screen why is this?? Is it that a 65" 4k uhd tv has much better colour then a pc screen have?? or are there mayby even pc screens that have same good colours(BUt if it does what is the actual price on these pc screens? and what to look after?)

I can't really tell the difference between 1080p or heck 900p to a 1440p panel
Also I agree that upscaling helps a lot with performance but guys, don't forget you can just play some of the older games on your backlog until new and faster gpus or just faster used ones come at a normal price so then you can play the then old game with ease...
You should honestly just go for 1080p high refresh rate.
i have a 240hz 27 1440p monitor, i will say from my experience obviously it looks better especially at the size it is, but things like objects that are a medium distance away from my character become incredibly blurred in 1080p compared to 1440p
it's 1440p or higher OLED monitor, or 1080p LCD imho.
they also sell 4k monitors at 27 and 28 inches now though, i haven't personally tested one, but i see them being sold now... the PPI on them is outrageous, though they are LCD, not oled, so pixel response times are a bit of an issue on those monitors.
If you aren’t playing on 8k 500+ hz get away from me
I hope 4k gets ditched tbh. 4k is a console thing thats just marketing. 1440p 240hz 27 inchh is what i use. 1080p isnt even bad. It actually looks good. 1440p looks better. But 4k is just kinda like a small upgrade .im new to pc so im learning

yes it will lower your fps a little but good graphics cards nowadays run it with no problem

We are talking about pixel count on a same sized screen here not just getting a bigger screen...
