I use it so idc if you do but I know people say it's cheating, but from a video production perspective, it saves time and it allows you to make the content that you want. @chosenone2926 you can look at your seeds map, in the overworked, nether, and end. You can locate structures, biomes, stuff like that. Instead of exploring mindlessly, you can go on chunck base to see where you need to go. It's nice to have when recording videos.

This is the most tragic 100 days I’ve ever seen. Curse of binding chest plate, can’t use elytra, accidentally starts raid instead of hardcore trail chamber, dogs attack villager and then accidentally pushes the villager off the mountain, it just doesn’t stop lmao
leaves door open, never uses torches, kills every animal in vicinity instead of farming, doesnt contain villagers for safety, digs down. literally so cringe.
I love this update. I love the dog armor and it’s easy to make the scute farm to repair the armor. The trial chambers are fun. They’re definitely not rare. :) In one world, it took 5 chambers of ominous vaults to get the heavy core. In the other, I got it in the first chamber. I think the 4th vault. Next up, I need to learn how to use the mace.

Hi JWhisp, notice the first vault you saw is blue rather than orange. This is an ominous vault and it requires ominous trial key, rather than normal key.

remember the trial chambers are supposed to be a midgame level fight and you're going with end city gear no shit it's gonna be easy with iron armor or unenchanted diamond they can actually get quite difficult
To be honest, I think it should work off of the hero buff rather than the bad omen. Bad omen already serves a function of triggering raids but the hero of the village is a bit underwhelming. Villagers will give you gifts and you get a discount on trades for 40 min. You can already get a more permanent trade discount by having zombies convert your traders and then curing them and the gifts are meh. So it would've been better to have the trials react to hero buff.

Glad to see another video and possibly series from you. Would love to see you do a series to 500 or even 1000 days. One doggo should be named Balto after the real life wolf dog. Minecraft is a sandbox game so there is no right or wrong way to play. If you want to use mods, vanilla, or chunk base then it is entirely up to you. Play however you want. If you want to play on peaceful mode with x-ray that is fine too unless of course you are on a server which has rules. Then respect those rules. But even in those rules there is usually wiggle room to play how you wanna play as long as its not game breaking or unfair for others.
The dog variants dont have lower spawn rates, they're just in specific biomes. Like the rusty wolf will only be found in sparse jungles, not jungles. The savanna dog, the spotted one, will only be found in a savanna plateau, not a savanna. The striped dog, who looks a little like a hyena, is only be found in wooded badlands. The rarest and really hard to find dog is the white one, because it only spawns in grove biomes, which alone are rare, and then those dogs are lone wolves and only spawn as single ones. The black dog you've found is actually one of the rares too. The default wolf, the forest wolf, chestnut and ashen wolves are not rare at all, you just need to enter the biomes they spawn in, which are not so specific. Like the ashen wolf loves to spawn in all snowy areas

Great video! I hate these new updates because I want to stop and enjoy what Mojang keeps adding but they keep adding more and more. I just started using copper in my builds 😭. Now raid farms are broken and there is a new weapon. I will miss the classic dogs too. This is probably my least favorite update out of all of them. Somehow, though, you still made a great video out of it.
Raid farms aren't broken, it's just the afk thing - but there's one new way of farming redstone and that's witches, cuz redstone drops were buffed in this update for the witches from 4-8 per witch, but it's guaranteed that every witch will drop redstone making it a better way! + classic dogs are still obtainable easily in taiga biome! what are you saying?
Use bad omen to be able to get some monsters after you're doing that and as soon as you're done with it you'll get the key to it okay wow he didn't know

If Piglin Brutes added 1.16.1, not 1.16, are counted as part of the nether update, not the cave update, then armored paws also counts

only reason i liked was because he said birch was the worst wood variant, and that statment is 100% factual.
i don't think stripped birch and birch planks even look all that bad in my opinion cherry planks just look wrong and bad in builds

Different types of keys. The eyes on the lock and the eyes on the keys will tell you if it can be used or not.
