It always amazes me how you guys plant. I’m always so careful and gentle and probably get 3 plants planted in the same time you get 100 planted. I’m always worried I did something wrong but obviously plants will grow and it doesn’t matter how perfectly they are put in the ground.
Well, some things are definitely more sensitive than others and the age of the plant makes a huge difference. Kale for example, crazy-hardy. Especially when young. You could yank it out of the soil and punch it into the ground (which I did for some that were extras that I had thinned fe one bed, to fill some space on another bed), they're fine. however, do that to a cucurbit, like a cucumber and that'll be a sad, sad plant. Most likely will kill it from my experience. Also the age. the bigger the root ball, the more damage you do when you move it, and the more acclimated it has to get to new soil, versus if they're young and only have pretty much just the main root? huge difference.
Not only are you all fun and share so much information free to us thank you on what you go threw we didn't know but you all look like huggable teddy bear , as we see you have lady's we have to be nice but there very lucky. Good job lady's on your pick of a man . I 😘 ve all the work and Grandpa has to be a joy all day. Gummy candy isn't bad it's Jell-O, juice so enjoy. Hug's from Oregon
I still cannot believe you're not out PICKING ROCKS in those fields. As a youngster a family of 13, my dad drove the tractor and we picked the rocks/stones tossing onto the stone boat. You guys are one big HAPPY FAMILY working like work horses!! Seems late getting your veggies planted, we've had a WET COLD SPRING and that WATER WHEEL is amazing!!!
That water wheel transplanter is so cool to watch. Its almost mesmerizing how you two just place each plant in the hole and never miss. Plus, Andrew, you're doing a running commentary while you do it. Pretty smooth!
Great service yall do for people to raise food to keep people alive yall are amazing and that view and sky Heaven. Thanks for sharing Andrew I know it is a lot of work plus your regular work.
1. What are cole crops? 2. For anyone else wondering: Cucurbit = a plant of the gourd family ( Cucurbitaceae ), which includes melon, pumpkin, squash, and cucumber.
Thank you, Andrew, for being a farmer and for blessing us with your infectious enthusiasm! Right at 13:00, I think that's the first sun I have seen since I started recently watching your channel! I was beginning to wonder ... At least our farmers don't have to worry about rocks, here in Florida. Remember Jesus when you guys start your day and when you eat! Buh-bye ...
❤️❤️❤️ All of the hard work your family puts in shows! Your nurseries are Amazing, as is all the food you grow. Thank You All for your hard work keeping food/plants available. ❤️🌱❤️🌻❤️
I just love your channel! These videos are so lovely to watch. The way you guys work together and eat together is wonderful. Your family is so blessed!!
Oohhweee... you boys have to really focus to fill all those holes! Great job! Thank you for explaining the machines yall use too. It's all very interesting. Looks fun too.
I would love to see how you keep the chickens water cool in the summer time, and warm in the winter. We love your videos. Thanks for taking the time to video and edit them for us.
Great machine, and if the ride gets a little ruff you don’t have to run to the hedge row you can add more water to the planter and take care of the problem.
I've waited all year for this video. Grandpa getting really excited. My garden is all planted, and I can't get enough. I miss working on a farm, it's in my blood.
Great video. I'm glad your field was wet for your water wheel transplanter planting. Happy planting for your season! Great looking lunch and dinner. I like kielbasa and halupkis too! My dad's Polish. 🙂 A friendly neighbor gave me a white radish from their garden this week. It was very good. Have a good Memorial Day!
Couple weeks ago, from Huw Richards on RUclips, also talked adding water a lot of water to a hole before adding plants. The idea so the plant roots looking water down an not grow out to the side. He used on Tomatoes used it on Cucumbers, plants still growing have produced Flowers already. Reducing munchers place pieces of Garlic an onion slices around plants. Bugs an critters can't stand smell. Also placed those veggies around Kale, Lettuce, an Cayenne pepper no holes. Great for small Gardeners. Veggies Bros bigger area most us.
Wowza !, your family is an awesome regiment of valiant farmers in a soldier-like , quick and precise paced system of planting which is very impressive. You certainly got the job done in a timely manner !
What amazing job guys you you're doing everything growing nice it's so nice to watch you planting the vegetables I love watching you when you working with flowers and vegetables I grow up on the farm and I missed so much all the best for you guys
This is like a dream come true….. the family farm, for real, in real life. God bless y’all for sharing your farm with us. I have 8 very small kids and show them your videos all the time. Good inspiration to get them “helping” in the garden. 😁 all the cool equipment even inspires the little engineer minded ones. So thank you again
Andrew, can share your best cover crop you use on the farm? I am definitely going to use this method but so many options. Another great video so excited to see you all planting. I have learned tons from you guys. Blessings to you all!
I love seeing y'all at work. It's new for me and interesting. I have a backyard garden, my sanctuary and I wish I had more land! But I do a lot with what I have. Did I miss Callie this time?
This year I planted my peppers closer than usual to try to fit more plants. I was a little worried until I saw that your spacing is the same as mine so it should be great. I really enjoy watching your tools and machines used in the various jobs. I don;t think you're too far away from me here in northwest Jersey so we'll probably make a trip out soon.
Hi Andrew, My name is James. You guys are amazing and the hard work you guys put in to feed a lot of people. Question for you, if you could mention in your videos, what is the timeline for planting different crops during the year. Just to have an idea what look forward to during the different season. Also how the weather usually is where you live through out the year. Thank you.
I just made haluski last night! So good! How do you all decide who’s doing what? Is grandpa in charge and does it? Or do you all prefer different tasks? I’d love to know more about the management side. Thanks!

I’m thinking of investing in a stick 😂 I consider myself a great dandelion farmer 😮

Usually plants that are hardened off can be a little tougher, but we do try and be careful even tho is may not seem that way 😂
Green side up, green side up, green side up.

Good to see family working together on the farm! I really enjoy watching your channel.
Nice that you and your cousin are planting,, Hope you all had a good lunch, and have a nice evening
Woohoo planting time! And nice to see Joel and Gavin 👍
1. What are cole crops?
2. For anyone else wondering: Cucurbit = a plant of the gourd family ( Cucurbitaceae ), which includes melon, pumpkin, squash, and cucumber.
Cole crops are another name for brassicas, anything derived from wild cabbage. Broccoli, cabbage, mustard, collards, cauliflower, kale, etc.
Thank you, Andrew, for being a farmer and for blessing us with your infectious enthusiasm! Right at 13:00, I think that's the first sun I have seen since I started recently watching your channel! Loving you're doing videos more often!!
A lot of different pans in the fire but your family makes to look easy.
Great job I'm now on the hunt for tomatoes, basil and mozzarella......

Hi From Milwaukee
Love watching you guys planting stuff. Farm equipment is so frigging ingenious.
can't wait to hear those snapping sounds when you pick peppers....
Lots of hard work, but satisfying work.
You all should see about getting a laundry soap company as a sponsor! 🤣
Do you at anything into the water to help transition the plants to the soil in the ground so they don't get to much of a shock?
Amazing how that works 👍
Love watching your videos, love grandpa keep him in the videos :)

I was taught peppers like to hold hands! 8 inches is good.
What's the difference between the black mulch and white you used on corn? Why do you use the different mulches? Love you guys

Oh. ..BTW... Hello from MOLINO FL. Just North of Pensacola !!👋
That farm is like a well oiled machine.
I just made haluski last night! So good! How do you all decide who’s doing what? Is grandpa in charge and does it? Or do you all prefer different tasks? I’d love to know more about the management side. Thanks!
??Question. someone might have asked this already. How do you tell the tomatoes apart once in the ground? just on paper? Or some markers in the field?
