It’s very reminiscent of the last album. After listening to it like 12 times I’ve grown to love it. Chad just has a unique voice and the guitar work is much bigger sounding!

Really feels like all my favorite bands from back in the day have fully embraced the nu-metal and butt rock sound. This isn't bad, but it sure as hell isn't the FTFD I fell in love with. At least LGND is still stupid heavy

@Stepanov Rock i think the issue is more that the ceiling on how heavy you can go has been reached, there's nowhere else to go except to experiment with other sounds because they've been heavy for so long they're running out of material. Like i mean there is only so many heavy riffs a band can write before they are just rehashing their old songs.
Band have bills to pay guys......they will always sellout to make some cash.

I still remember people hating on Back Burner due to the amount of cleans. And to say that Back Burner was 100 times heavier would be an understatement. I can´t understand why people are happy with the transition now. To be honest, this is quite a disapointment. Let´s hope the album includes some heavy hitters as well.

As much as I loved BB back then. No matter how much people didn't seem to like it. They've only ever made good music in my eyes. I found them the week changes hit RUclips while I was sitting in high school. They've not made bad music. TO THIS DAY.

This is so cool. I love to see a band pushing the boundaries of their sound and creating something that genuinely sticks out amongst their back catalogue, but also fits so perfectly. Bonus points for adding the king that is Damon to the band.

If you’ve listened to anything LGND did or even the last FTFD album you would know that they stepped up the melodic, more refined side. The heavy is here too I’m sure. Nothing Chad does is soft. It’s call Changes. Welcome them and evolve with ‘em!
All the haters are still taking the time to listen and I believe it’ll grow on most of them. This bangs from start to finish. Change is okay. “Changes” is this band’s bread and butter if y’all haven’t caught on by now!

This song sounds like mashup of focus group-tested cliches meant to appeal to the widest possible audience, which isn't a bad thing, but it's no doubt a deliberate attempt to increase their marketability. It's just what they have to do to make a living, and if it means we will also get some heavier songs that sound like the earlier days, I'll take it.

They were 20-21 when they recorded and released Changes, while that record still is flawless to me alongside Relentless; i don't expect them that now being at 35-36 continue doing that. Hell, i was 13-14 back then and I'm 27, and more into shoegaze mostly.

Really hope there's more traditional FTFD style heavy songs. The production on this is great and it's not a bad song, but I just have always hated rapping in metal. The only rap metal I can get in to is some of the older gift giver stuff.

That’s not to say the old material still doesn’t hold up; it absolutely does, but I’m absolutely loving the variety of things you guys are doing. That chorus was so beautiful, it gave me chills and brought tears to my eyes. Great lyrics, excellent instrumentation. Keep doing what you guys are doing and I’m sure this band will absolutely take off into the stratosphere ❤️

Good riffs, great build up, strong bridge, powerful vocals and amazing chorus.
Every listen gets better this one is a grower. I dig this alot at first the rapping parts threw me off but after giving it a few listens it fits very well. Chad's vocals are incredible too never knew he had such good cleans. Very excited that ftfd are back with a new album. One of my favorite bands of all time. Love this band and I will always support them.🖤
