Great review. I know skirmish is a thing but personally feels like it is becoming hot with Disney sorceress, dragon prince, unmatched, coming out so fast back to back but good systems. I am yet to play dragon prince but have it saved now, currently playing skytear and unmatched more.
I haven't played Sorcerer's arena unfortunately. I appreciate is Dragon Prince doesn't have "Status ailments" which require more remembering special rules from turn to turn, but this game has its own complexities that one doesn't have.
I have and it’s okay. I wish they would’v turn it into a coop adventure game instead of skirmish game. Is just another version of Unmatched which I also have and I prefer Unmatched better. I like the show but the game will leave my collection. 😁
It’s disappointing the graphic design on these cards does not capture the beautiful aesthetics of the show at all. The graphic design on these cards looks bland and soulless - the opposite of The Dragon Prince.

One of the best thing about the show is that Netflix has already greenlit all 7 seasons. No need to worry about not getting a proper finale!

I think the different magic types hints at expansions that will give more characters to share magic types.
I'm guessing so too. Otherwise it's an odd inclusion for such a small amount of crossover potential trial with Viren and Claudia.

@@DTChrisYi I'd say like a slightly more complex Sorcerers Arena since this game has a charge system and you are able to react to attacks.

I would also love a co-op adventure set in Kotalis. I'd even enjoy what they did with Wildlands where there's the 1 & 2 player co-op expansion.
