  • One of the most common single engine piston planes in the world is the Piper Pa28. The reason is that it's simple and fairly inexpensive to fly.
    I'll show you how to make a couple of takeoff and landing circuits. Great fun, but don't try without taking some flying lessons! 😅👌🏼🤗

    I soloed in an Archer 35 years ago. Haven't been in a small plane since but great see it again.

    Oh my god I cannot wait!. I have applied for a flying scholarship here in the UK and tomorrow I will be going up in the Piper A28. I have been flying before but flex-wing microlights for a few hours and once with my ex in the piped as he was also on a scholarship but I am sooooooo excited!!!. You have gave me so much confidence and I just cannot wait! X

      Local. Min alt is 500ft abv gnd.

    Is there any benefit to choosing this over the classic Cessna planes used for ppl-a lessons? I just find the Piper much more aesthetically pleasing

    I’m curious to why you are using carb heat on that model of PA28 ?

      Suppose you can get ice in it, descending. It has a carb and it’s also on the checklist. 😊

    I´m curious, how tall are you? Do you think it is possible to fit safely in PA-28 when I´m 6´6?

      I'm 6 ft. Lots of space over my head and the seat can be adjusted. Should be no problem for you.

      Thanks. My son in law just bought a 1975 Cherokee. Have not seen it yet. We are going to ferry it from Florida up to Virginia next month and was curious as to the instrumentation Yours looks way more modern.

      , since it does not have the switches overhead. Maybe even better with the switches on the dashboard,

      @@bjornpilot That was my first thought when viewing the video: pity about the overhead switches blocking the view! I have a '66 Cherokee. I would get an earful if I tried a tight pattern at 600 AGL here in Miami! Ha!

      The last 2 characters of the aircraft registration/call-sign is F(oxtrot) I(ndia) and often the last few (3 in US) characters are use as a shorthand when it is not likely to be confused with another aircraft with a similar last few.
