    I'd stop payment and show them the emails in court where you told them to cancel and you would pay the fees.
    You told them you wanted the items cancelled and they keep shipping them anyway and taking your money.

      That’s pretty much exactly what happened, except it’s all done now. Everything came flooding out after I asked to cancel in all in two different emails. I’m good with where I sit currently. I just won’t be ordering from them again.

      Oh the channel will absolutely stay around. I just have to shift the focus of what I sell away from new retail toys. Stick to what works. I love selling them, and being able to ship stuff to other collectors, but it’s just not a good business model.

    So glad to see this video.... It's not just me recently pissed. Mine is just because they cancel preorders that I could have got somewhere else, And now sold out everywhere.... Yet again. Guess I should have learned the last 1 or 2 times in the past.. Too many other options nowadays.

      As a collector, it’s most beneficial to place a bunch of orders across multiple retailers. I’ve had Walmart cancel on me at random, and Target do the same thing. I think those instances were because of limited stock quantities.

    I live in Puerto Rico, until a few months ago all my purchases were free shipping, that is no longer the case and I understand it, I decided to pre-order a 1/10 scale figure of Threezero an Iron Man, I had already bought an Iron Man from them with " free shipping", the dimensions of the box might be like 3x5x10, it costs $99, the problem is that they wanted to charge me about $89 for shipping "almost what the figure costs: I contacted EE and they said it's the carrier's thing, and I replied that Big Bad Toy Store would charge $19.99 for shipping, IT'S A SHAME FOR A LONG TIME IT WAS MY PLACE OF SHOPPING.

    Brother, I feel you. I had an awesome sales guy there. We talked almost every week. Even though I’m a small online seller, we talked through products that may hit, or were gonna be DOA. If I had stuff stuck in the warehouse he would actually try and get it shipped out for me the same day. Above and beyond this guy was! He was my rep for 2 years and got to actually know my business and EE just dropped him 3 weeks ago. Now I’m stuck with some idiot that has no idea about my orders, has no interest in learning anything about my business, and just tries to shove me off the phone anytime I call. I texted my old rep, he told me to call the main number and get in touch with sales management. Apparently, one thing they don’t like is money leaving. They’d much rather have your continued orders than your cancellation fee. I’m going to give it a try to see if I can get a new rep, cause this one now is straight trash! Hope things get better for you!

      Funny enough, a sales manager watched this video the other day, tracked me down, and reached out via phone. I’ll be making another update video once I get things worked out with him, but still not convinced I’m staying with them after all of this. I did find out that the reason my new rep was so unresponsive…. Is that SHE QUIT! She quit the company, and left her clients in limbo. Didn’t follow through with anything she was supposed to check on for me (cancellations), and it took someone at EED watching this video to reach out. Pretty fucked in my opinion. They should have reached out as soon as she left. I’m getting together a list of questions to ask, and grievances I would like addressed… like how I can order things way ahead of announcement, yet they can’t get those items to me before stores mark them down…
      What’s the point of secret calling orders then?

    I stopped using EE when the shipping was getting way too much. I mean a Hasbro 6" standard figure at $24 was costing me damn near $38 or more. I was done with it. There are other sites that have a standard shipping charge more than half that cost. Its been almost a year since my last EE order. Will they become the next Dorkside Toys?

      EE Distribution is the business side. EE retail is separate. Supposedly, EE Distribution played a role in Dorkside going under.

      It’s just a rip off really. You’re locked into a price that’s subject to change, have to pay a fee to cancel, all while they can devalue items before they send them to you.

    I feel like independent toys is the future. Mythic legions , AWOK, etc. they just seem to be willing to talk to smaller storefronts

      I'm not sure who's fault was it but I ended up ordering wal-torr mythic twice when I wanted a cosmic and a mythic, long story short, it happened not sure if it was me or the site, anyhow, I messaged Mythic, thinking this was going to be some long annoying process (triggered by my experience with big companies) they emailed me saying they already switched the figures out. Took them maybe 2 hours to respond. I was so happy with that experience, I ordered another figure!

    We ran into all the same things you're mentioning. It's total crap. The shipping is ridiculous. They don't send the product till it's already in the stores, so it's harder to move. Wholesale my foot because by the time you pay shipping, it's far more than buying it retail in other places. Items would be back ordered but would still be in stock on the site. We ordered MOTU figures and the cases were canceled, yet EE had them in their store for themselves.
    We canceled our entire order list, but we had to pay for some items that were going to need to be restocked. At the time we asked to cancel our items none of the items were "in stock" and needed to be "restocked," but they stalled it out till some items suddenly appeared and then charged us the restocking fees.
    If you are a reseller, I would never use EED. Can confirm everything that he is saying.

      Yeah… “suddenly” in stock for your orders. That exact thing happened with the latest GiJoe Ultimates wave. I’d been asking for a month to cancel the order, but then demanded to cancel based on one of the figures being backordered, but in stock on their retail site. In stock with codes for free shipping, and 10% off. All of a sudden it was in stock, and they charged me for it, with no more email communication.
      I hate to see anyone dealing with this, but I’m glad to see someone else knows exactly what I’m talking about.

    I am having same issue, Been with them since 2009 and this is just terrible. I just had 5 items ship in 4 shipments of 5 pounds each. I have stuff that has been on order for 2 to 3 years, and was not told I was losing my really good rep last year. I have left messages, returned one e-mail earlier this year. Where is a good place to wholesale from now? Thank you for your video, glad to know it is not just me. I shared you video to my regular facebook to show friends what we have been dealing with.

      Contact your rep, and ask what they can do for you on the shipping. I have my account set up so that I have to have at least $300 worth of product before they will ship it. I can’t stress enough… ask for another rep if this one isn’t working for you… even if you can go back to your old rep. If they won’t do it, tell them you want to close your account.

    Bro….ya I haven’t bought much from EE but 95% has been a cluster fuck 🤦🏻‍♂️ still waiting on items that have changed shipping dates 6 times now and it’s been over a year now. Like you mentioned, I ordered things that end out coming out months in stores while shipping dates with them keep getting pushed back. Only reason I don’t cancel some of my orders is I just don’t want to be charged that crazy shipping cost. Definitely done with them

    Bummer. It’s always a bad situation when a distributor cuts out the middle man and goes direct too. In the online world it’s getting harder to do physical retail. Toy sales in general are in rough spot.

    I had the same issue years ago I was a small retailer and they would prioritize figures that wouldn’t sell over the orders that were in demand. We lost so much money on EE. It was terrible I changed my accounts and cards and ended business with them

      It was almost as soon as I sent the complaints, they flooded me with orders all at once. I have about 600 remaining, and will cancel that if at all possible. Even if it means changing my account

      @@TheIslandViper The situation is screwed up, and you should continue to try getting someone to respond to your general complain about what happened, But you may wanna keep your account just in case they get some kind of exclusives at some point, or something the other sellers don't have, Bad business is going on, But they could still be useful , I would certainly be pissed off enough to wanna cut ties with them too, but then again you may possibly need them at some point, Just a thought.

    Even as a customer, entertainment earth is the last resort for anything. Shipping is a joke, taking 2 or 3 weeks sometimes to ship stuff out. Watch these jackasses go out of business like DorkSide and just close up shop.

    Sorry to hear what you've been through, but EE and Diamond Distributors have always been bad when it comes to shipping, I remember buying Star Wars 12 inch dolls from EE back in the late 90's and early 2000 and their shipping was horrible even back then, not only then they rake me with high shipping cost but took forever to get to me (about three months) the final nail in the coffin was when they were at SDCC and Diamond Distributors had their Knight Rider car. I wanted the one that came with the Michael Knight figure only Diamond had the exclusive but couldn't get their card readers to work, EE was across the aisles and had only the car and had 20 stacks but refused to sell them, only through their website. From that day on I never purchased anything from EE ever again.

    We had a couple of orders payment declined, because we ran into some issues, and EED canceled all my preorders and my account, then they want me to pay $1500 in fees to reactivate the account, on products that hasn't event arrived, told them no i will not give them free money. Every other major distributor has help us out without a problem.

      That’s unfortunately just part of it. Even on the retail side. Preorder dates are speculative because they have to travel from China via cargo ship.

    I preordered Mirage from Transformers Studio Series back in August of 2023 on EE and he was supposed to arrive in November 2023. EE keeps pushing him back and now he’s not coming until July 2024 on their site!

    Back in 2020 I ordered a figure that took so long to get to me that it was out at regular stores for months before I finally got it....Never again.

      Imagine ordering in bulk to sell, the figures being out so long at big box retail that they put it on clearance, and finally EED shipping your order. On top of that, not being able to cancel without paying a ridiculous fee.

    Yeah I feel your pain. I use a different distributor for the majority of my orders now. Although I still do have an account with entertainment Earth. You are correct that they're shipping is insane. Especially since I'm on the east coast and they're on the West Coast. Thankfully the distributor I use now is also on the east coast and I don't get hit with all these crazy shipping charges anymore.

    Yah i went thru with ee you get a different answer every time and its difficult to get ba refund once they get your money 6:43 . Not to mention their delivery prices are ridiculous and they are always last to get stock.

    This sucks that you're having all that trouble and may have to shut down because of them. On the retail side, it's not even worth it unless you're buying a lot of stuff to qualify for the free shipping. I hate buying from them.

    I had over $25,000 in my queue, over half of that was items canceled. And yet they still charge me a cancellation fee on everything.. I guess you only have to pay the fees when you relist your account

    I am in Canada and tried to open an online store. Tried ee and it was not worth it. Think I did a $2000 order just to see what they are like. So far broke even on everything or lost a couple of dollars. Moved mainly to eBay and make a bit of side money every month just doing used collections. I know sometimes volume gets you better prices but I’m not going that big.

      Did the exact same thing. Im from Peru, worked with EE the same issues, had to cancel my card.
      Now doing the same with used stuff, i wonder however where are those truly Wholesale stores???

    My shop over the years has had a ton of of merchandise show up destroyed and damaged some was clearly their fault as the shipping box they send was fine but the box inside was crushed (probably done at the warehouse) the first was the gigawatt transformer case all of the boxes where smashed when I contacted them they told me best they could do was contact hasbro about sending me replacement packaging for the figures and I could transfer them all into new boxes. Weeks later the Jurassic park transformer showed up smashed I sent photos and I got no response and then weeks later several pop vinyl cases showed up destroyed also no response i never got replacement boxes from hasbro and my email have still never been replied to. I haven’t ordered anything from them In over a year but I’m still randomly getting cases of things order over two years ago (end of January they finally sent me two cases or the guardians of the galaxy 3 marvel legends) I truly hate this company

    You need to get out of toys i did it for fun not for a retirement plain. I bought from EE when prices went up to $20 a figure i stop. I buy gold and silver now.

    EE charge double for the same shipping services as other stores. The exact same thing happened to me, when I wrote to them asking why they refused to respond. They are total assholes. I only buy from Big Bad Toystore.

    I used EED for 2 shipments for my store twice, canceled everything and have never used them again since 2014

      I don’t think that’s talked about enough by the ones who have experienced it before. It needs to be brought out more in the open by any retailer who has dealt with them.

    Wow. I didn't know that EE was so shady. As a non-business customer of EE I can tell that their shipping prices are excessive, and its takes almost 2 weeks for most packages to ship. Although, I've never experienced this myself, I have seen stories of pre-orders (mostly Hasbro) being canceled.

    Doesn't all the little guys/companies get their crap from EE or BBTS. Hasbro's losing $$; there were layoffs last year. They are producing less product.

      There are several wholesale distributors. BBTS is not one of them. Hasbro’s current situation has nothing to do with how EED is treating their retailers, or handling product.

    I miss going to the stores and picking up figures, was much better but online retail killed it. Btw you shouldn't have to pay a dime for canceling, that's some shady shit. Forgive me if I'm not understanding correctly but anytime I accidentally order something at EE and I'm allowed to cancel it, no fuss no muss. Is it because you have so many items pre-ordered? Thank you for letting us know about how shady they are... I have like 3 waves of Star Wars figures coming from them.

      So this isn’t EE that I’m ordering from. It’s EE Distribution. Their wholesale distributor side. What sucks is that this is Hasbro’s preferred distributor.

    Always complain UP my dude. What is the average consumer supposed to do about your problems? Complain to other retailers and join forces in solidarity. Complaining openly to the internet is like shouting into a void. That said I certainly empathize with your plight. Best of luck to you.

    5k toys is even more ridiculous. Preorder something, supposed to ship this month. Message them they tell me supposed to ship last month. Wtf?! And target still indicates ' available ' but go to purchase. Unavailable?! Wtf?!😂

      I only buy in stock items at 5k toys never had a problem but the distributers are really to blame when the toys come in later

      @@hammbone8184 If you cancelled and did a chargeback, they will ban your account. If you check 5ktoys cancellation policy, it says that refunds for deposits are only available for certain amount of days, after that, you can request a cancellation but get no refund. I have cancelled a bunch of items from them, and have never gotten banned. I maybe haven't received 3 or 4 of pre-order deposits back, but I cancelled way over the refundable period in the first place. Not going to say 5ktoys is perfect, as it isn't, but how you handle cancellations will affect your account status. ETA's for shipping are simply exactly estimations; that means that there is no guaranteed to receive your item at any specific date. 5ktoys is generally not too far from there dates, but it is best to pre-order and forget about it until you get am arrival notice. If you feel you need to having something by a specific time after paying for it, then I would suggest you do not pre-order, and only order in-stock items, as no date is guaranteed when it comes to pre-order. Again, 5ktoys is not perfect. They are good when things arrive intact and non-defective. They are trash if what you receive an item that is not accurate, has damage, or is missing part. Delayed ETA's has nothing to with them though, as they make a post and page notice on when things are on there way to their warehouse and when payment is due.

      I got a similar vibe to be honest. I feel his frustration, but I also feel a bit of exaggeration and desperation in his words.
      Just remember, biz failures are truly opportunities. You may have to shift into a dif portion of the business...or add other products, etc. GL

      No. I started years before the pandemic, dealing in vintage toys, and custom displays. I brought it to RUclips in the hopes of deterring others who may be thinking of dealing with EED. It’s not worth it.

    Damn. Im not a retailer, but i just preordered the Deadpool and wolverine last month from them. Never ordered from them before then. Checked to see when they would be shipping because of the May release date and it's already been backordered a month... I hope they dont pop up on amazon cheaper. 🤦🏻‍♂️
