Aww Jewelyn so sorry about your plant baby. I’m glad that you were able to save the parts that could be salvaged.fingers crossed they root which I’m sure they will.Putting it in the greenhouse sounds like a great idea, it will give it time to heal. There’s a lot of the plant you were able to save so that’s good.

You were able to salvage a lot more than I thought you could. Now they just need to root and thrive. Go little plant go!

This is so sad. I hope it comes back just fine. I found a RUclipsr called Maria's Garden in FL. She uses cinnamon on cuttings, etc. and I've also started using it with cuttings. So far so good. I also sprinkle it on potting soil to kill any bugs that may be trying to hatch.

Have had to do this a few times. Luckily they usually recover just fine.

Don’t reuse soil if it’s root rot. You should throw out soil and wash out the pot well.

It’s weird that this happens to you. It rains all the time on the East coast and our plants never have the root rot happen. They just dry out again. That plant was in a clay pot and no saucer, it should’ve recovered. Does it rain for days and days?
