SMC BBall Wins V Richmond in Rd 1 NCAA 03-17-10

The Saint Mary's College of CA Gaels defeated the University of Richmond Spiders in Providence, Rhode Island in the first round of the NCAA Men's Basketball Championship Tournament 2010 by a score of 80-71 as students, faculty, staff and community members watched on the projector screen in Dryden Hall of the campus back in Moraga, California. March Madness infected the crowd, chants of "Aussie, Aussie, Aussie--Oi, oi, oi!" and "SMC, SMC!" rang out throughout the room as the the Gaels moved on to the second round of the Big Dance.
