I agree. I ended up voting for Howard for America's favorite player because of the crap they went through. This is still one of my favorite seasons. There were a lot of super funny people and great game play. This is my top 5 of BB seasons. Spencer was my favorite.
oh he did, he lifted the art of the floater from Jun and Allison in BB4 and truly perfected it. (and no, floaters don't need life vests, coasters do.) this video is my first time interacting with the full season of BB15 after being a classic BB fan and kinda growing apart from it after BB14…even if half the cast is fucking disgusting, he truly did an exceptional job making genuine connections with everyone in the house-NOT coming across as fake or just looking to get a vote (not like he needed one, only nominated once) and determining where the power laid in the long-term run of the game. laying low in the early game, sussing out the power couple in Amanda/McCrae, being their secret informant and choosing the EXACT right time to take them out and carry himself to the F2 with the most clutch wins for any BB season (F4 HOH, F4 POV, F3 HOH)-then made the right move in bringing GinaMarie, an incredibly abrasive person that rubbed a lot of people the wrong way and only had one power move to her name (Amanda's downfall-watching her avoid that jury question from her was cringe as fuck, lmao). Andy also gave-as someone who's seen 2/3rds of BBUS-one of the best finale speeches I have ever seen. I genuinely think he flipped some votes with that. we can only hope to see a player as good as him again in a season that isn't hot garbage.

Amanda wasn't so much a good player as everyone else was just a terrible, spineless player. That's how every season is now. There is no more game play. It's just people, desperate for airtime, that get told who to vote for and go with it so they can work on their tans for the rest of the week.
What? Amanda was a great player. Did we watch the same season? She had a hand in almost all evictions due to her social game-- and barely anyone even tried to get her out, and when they did, **they** were the ones that left the house. The fact that she didn't win is a shame-- I think Andy played the 2nd best game this season, but Amanda ran the house for most of the season despite the shitty MVP system making that even harder for someone to do.
when i watched this season, I hated Andy because he was a floater. Rewatching this knowing he would win made actually realize he played a pretty much flawless game. His jury management was 10/10 with all his different good bye messages
I'd take Andy over either of them any day. He was well connected with everyone the entire time and was never in even slight danger of going home. Derrick is the only other person to pull that off.

Watching this back, it's crazy to think how fluid the alliances were in the house. The gameplay this season is so much more entertaining than the snoozefest that is BB22
It's really terrible how bad of a reputation this season has considering how good it is. Obviously the racism and such from the early days put a bad taste in everyone's mouth but looking back this is a really solid season with great gameplay and a really worthy winner. His selling out Elissa after voting out Amanda is a work of evil genius art and I love every bit of it.
@@chelsm90 from a casting/character perspective yes, the season is horrible. The first few weeks were extremely rough when several of them were being racist assholes. But from a pure gameplay perspective, this had a solid first few weeks with the rise and fall of the moving company and Amanda's weaponizing of the MVP twist before it went into America's hands. While the middle section was kind of slow with Amanda running the house for several weeks, Judd's return and Elissa's HOH kicked off a stellar endgame with Amanda's fall, Andy's complete outmaneuvering of Elissa during the Double Eviction and subsequent rise to power leading to his eventual win. Nobody's saying this season is perfect but it's also not the complete garbage that its reputation would lead people to believe.

Andy got so much flack at the time of his win for playing the "rat" game, but he really did play a near-flawless game. I find it hard to decide whether he or Jun played the best floater game. The house-guest's reaction to his first HOH win says it all. He was in everyone's good graces, and was never the primary target throughout pretty much the entire game. His ability to deflect his backstabbing onto someone else in the house was fantastic manipulation. One of the better BB winners in my opinion.

Making big or risky moves can be flashy and in some cases necessary, but taking one for the sole sake of making a big move has tanked otherwise solid games before. Why take a risk if you’re always in the best position and no one is targeting you?
@@redber16 He didn't "coast". He floated between alliances. A coaster never has any pull or influence in what happens in the house. Andy had multiple moments where he seized absolute control of the game. Andy had a solid strategy in laying low at the beginning while fostering good relationships with everyone in the house. Once those relationships are set, he then could manipulate them and use them to set himself up in the mid and late game to get to the end with his best chance of winning. There's a reason why literally everyone in the house was excited when Andy won HOH in week 7. Because they believed he was on their side That's because of how he played the early game, focusing on his social equity. And while being HOH would usually require the typical floater to choose a side and draw a line, Andy played his HOH so well that he continued to stay in everyone's good graces and was never the primary target. By far his best move was in the second double eviction, where he first was the deciding vote to send Amanda to the jury. Then when McCrae wins the second HOH, Andy convinces McCrae that it was Elissa who double-crossed Amanda and McCrae. This leads to McCrae nominating and sending out his sole remaining ally in the game - all due to Andy's manipulation. Andy formed the Exterminators and took control of the house at the perfect time to set himself up well for the endgame. He played a fantastic floater game. I'd place him below Dan, Dr. Will, and Derrick when ranking winners, but he's not much lower than them. BB 15 was a lousy season for a variety of reasons, but the winner was pretty strong in his gameplay.
This is one of my favorites because every single person in the house wanted to play the game and played it HARD except maybe david, who was out first. Even people like Candice, Jessie, and GinaMarie, who are normally just the pretty girls cast to cause drama, came to play and were great TV. Candice is underappreciated, she had an amazing read on the house and the fact that she kept her cool as much as she did when she could’ve lost it way more times is respectable. Helen and Amanda were great because they were powerful alpha females (we don’t see enough of them) but had flaws, which made them compelling characters. Even the “floaters” were playing and their games kicked in hard at the end. I hate that the derogatory remarks ruin it for a lot of people, which is understandable, but there’s so much good to this season too.

When Judd got evicted the second time and he said he wanted Ginamarie to win, and the audience cheered, it shows how poor the editing was regarding the racial sensitivity. It really wasn't revealed until after the show was over that Ginamarie also lost her job because of her remarks. The show put so much focus on Aaryn, however, Ginemarie's comments were arguably way worse. I can never forget that comment she made at the live eviction telling Candace her mother didn't want her (Candace was adopted). Like, holy hell.
The moving company alliance actually could’ve went far lmao but the boys just couldn’t keep it together. Helen, Amanda and Andy were definitely the strongest players this season tho!
at the end of the day we are all reprehensible for something we do. Unfortunately for Aaryn, being mean and biased in front of 10 million people is not conducive to success, or a good public image.
While she was a total mean girl on bb15 and what she said was indefensible, it's important to remember that people have all the time in the world to improve their morality and character, until death. My guess is she is not the same person now that she once was. No, I'm not being an apologist. Just hinting that maybe being humiliated in front of the nation and losing your job and your friends forces you to reflect and make some changes...
I actually really like this season because the gameplay is more intense than most seasons, especially newer ones. There were three powerhouses, Howard Amanda and Helen, that battled it out and worked with eachother simultaneously. There were people like Andy that were loyal to multiple of them and it made the game really suspenseful and you never really know who’s going to be evicted until the votes are done. A lot of the houseguests are pretty annoying like Jessie and Aaryn is just a piece of shit but the fights were pretty entertaining.
Oh honey, Howard was never a powerhouse. He was on the bottom of everything, sucked at the game, lied to Helen and got caught TWICE, and never had numbers to do anything after the very first vote. He never led anything or got in power, it was just him, Spencer, and Candice in one group, except Spencer and Candice disliked each other, and Howard was left impotent as always.
He played really well. Won the first hoh and set the tempo for the season, defected from his alliance when he needed to, rode Amanda's coattails until her eviction, and then started beasting through comps. If Amanda was a better player, he would have made it to f2 with her and won due to a bitter jury.

There's literally no way you can say that someone who expertly played all sides of the house to the point everyone was really happy when he was HoH because they thought they were safe, was pretty much responsible for Amanda's dominance in the early portions of the game, and managed to betray everyone without pissing them off at all (in fact, they completely adored him), and whose weakest round was when he was the 4th target of the HoH whom he just betrayed and still didn't get a single vote to evict, is one of the worst winners.

Making big or risky moves can be flashy and in some cases necessary, but taking one for the sole sake of making a big move has tanked otherwise solid games before. Why take a risk if you’re always in the best position and no one is targeting you?

@@redber16 He didn't "coast". He floated between alliances. A coaster never has any pull or influence in what happens in the house. Andy had multiple moments where he seized absolute control of the game. Andy had a solid strategy in laying low at the beginning while fostering good relationships with everyone in the house. Once those relationships are set, he then could manipulate them and use them to set himself up in the mid and late game to get to the end with his best chance of winning. There's a reason why literally everyone in the house was excited when Andy won HOH in week 7. Because they believed he was on their side That's because of how he played the early game, focusing on his social equity. And while being HOH would usually require the typical floater to choose a side and draw a line, Andy played his HOH so well that he continued to stay in everyone's good graces and was never the primary target. By far his best move was in the second double eviction, where he first was the deciding vote to send Amanda to the jury. Then when McCrae wins the second HOH, Andy convinces McCrae that it was Elissa who double-crossed Amanda and McCrae. This leads to McCrae nominating and sending out his sole remaining ally in the game - all due to Andy's manipulation. Andy formed the Exterminators and took control of the house at the perfect time to set himself up well for the endgame. He played a fantastic floater game. I'd place him below Dan, Dr. Will, and Derrick when ranking winners, but he's not much lower than them. BB 15 was a lousy season for a variety of reasons, but the winner was pretty strong in his gameplay.

This is one of my favorites because every single person in the house wanted to play the game and played it HARD except maybe david, who was out first. Even people like Candice, Jessie, and GinaMarie, who are normally just the pretty girls cast to cause drama, came to play and were great TV. Candice is underappreciated, she had an amazing read on the house and the fact that she kept her cool as much as she did when she could’ve lost it way more times is respectable. Helen and Amanda were great because they were powerful alpha females (we don’t see enough of them) but had flaws, which made them compelling characters. Even the “floaters” were playing and their games kicked in hard at the end. I hate that the derogatory remarks ruin it for a lot of people, which is understandable, but there’s so much good to this season too.

When Judd got evicted the second time and he said he wanted Ginamarie to win, and the audience cheered, it shows how poor the editing was regarding the racial sensitivity. It really wasn't revealed until after the show was over that Ginamarie also lost her job because of her remarks. The show put so much focus on Aaryn, however, Ginemarie's comments were arguably way worse. I can never forget that comment she made at the live eviction telling Candace her mother didn't want her (Candace was adopted). Like, holy hell.

at the end of the day we are all reprehensible for something we do. Unfortunately for Aaryn, being mean and biased in front of 10 million people is not conducive to success, or a good public image.
While she was a total mean girl on bb15 and what she said was indefensible, it's important to remember that people have all the time in the world to improve their morality and character, until death. My guess is she is not the same person now that she once was. No, I'm not being an apologist. Just hinting that maybe being humiliated in front of the nation and losing your job and your friends forces you to reflect and make some changes...
I actually really like this season because the gameplay is more intense than most seasons, especially newer ones. There were three powerhouses, Howard Amanda and Helen, that battled it out and worked with eachother simultaneously. There were people like Andy that were loyal to multiple of them and it made the game really suspenseful and you never really know who’s going to be evicted until the votes are done. A lot of the houseguests are pretty annoying like Jessie and Aaryn is just a piece of shit but the fights were pretty entertaining.
Oh honey, Howard was never a powerhouse. He was on the bottom of everything, sucked at the game, lied to Helen and got caught TWICE, and never had numbers to do anything after the very first vote. He never led anything or got in power, it was just him, Spencer, and Candice in one group, except Spencer and Candice disliked each other, and Howard was left impotent as always.

He played really well. Won the first hoh and set the tempo for the season, defected from his alliance when he needed to, rode Amanda's coattails until her eviction, and then started beasting through comps. If Amanda was a better player, he would have made it to f2 with her and won due to a bitter jury.
Set the tempo for the season = got in cahoots with Amanda and gave his game away.
Yeah he was a decent player. This season really did have some competitive players.

There's literally no way you can say that someone who expertly played all sides of the house to the point everyone was really happy when he was HoH because they thought they were safe, was pretty much responsible for Amanda's dominance in the early portions of the game, and managed to betray everyone without pissing them off at all (in fact, they completely adored him), and whose weakest round was when he was the 4th target of the HoH whom he just betrayed and still didn't get a single vote to evict, is one of the worst winners.

There were much better players this season. Although, she's better than almost all the players they've picked post bb15.
Watching this season again I'm just realizing just how deadly Helen was as a player. Easily one of the best female players in the history of the show.

The look in Andy’s face when Elissa was thinking of keeping Amanda was the most obvious “I’m Guilty” look you could ever see.
