@@CaptainGeronimo Overkill players have a glaring weakness. All their guns are in the front and they can be easily out maneuvered by a broadside player or a small nimble ships like the pilot escort best with broadside weapons
I wonder if people would use cannons just to have that personal visit.

So based on your final description of this ship starting around 12:00. This ship is basically a typical walmart customer in the walmart motorcarts? Unstoppable juggernauts who can't be stopped and are agressive but are also to slow to be stuck behind and can never stop in time.

9:27 I know this is not what happened but with the tractor beam on you from the ship and you then suddenly speeding it up it made me think:
Wouldnt it be cool if there was a console or device that shoots out a turrent or probe that use a tractor beam that latches onto your ship and then for like 15 seconds your turn rate becomes insane.
Or a version that does that to an enemy ship but if they hit another object the take ramming damage.

It woulda been a cool gimic, but with competitive engines we can do almost the same :)

I lke the Vaadwaur Assualt vessel better than these larger ones cause my main is a Cannon focused guy.
One of my fleetmates was sitting in this ship outside space dock and and I just flew circles around him in my escort ship and it seemed like a ramora trying to find a good spot on a blue whale in size comparison.

No, you will get great results with them however it require you to sit stationary and aim well that can be problem if you are under attack

Weirdest thing is, almost every one of them I see is running cannons... and looking at what parses I take they seem to be on to something
I know, it's extremely strong however you have to remain station ary all the time if you want cannons to work and that can lead to some other problems (sitting duck)

@@falkenvir Yes you can. I have an antiproton omni, the obelisk omni (also antiproton), and the kinetic cutting beam omni all on my Astika's rear slots.

You can, it was a joke. This monster is so slow that cannons would be impractical as it's hard to be in firing arc

It's just that heavy ships don't benefit well from having cannons as they are not fast enough. But with some modifications you can pull that odd
hey you said do not use cannons HAHA i don,t use cannons i use 360 Degrees turning turrets and omni directional beam array - wherever the enemy turns my weapons stay on them :) -but to bad the Torpedoes cannot do the same :(

No they are not, all speck I see are double checked and compared with ship in game. I always try to all a bit of lore I found, but if there is not anything, I read what STO gave us
The most "me" part is ending where I say few words on the ship overall
