It's pure heaven to rediscover the beautiful recordings of Mantovani and His Orchestra. It brings back so many cherised moments of my youth! Thanks for posting this!
When I was 15 and first heard this song by Ed Ames I knew it was special. Now that I have been married 47 years to the most wonderful girl in the world I truly understand what it means.
THANK YOU. THANK YOU. THANK YOU VERY MUCH. AS A YOUNG CHILD IN THE PHILIPPINES THIS PIECE WAS A VERY SPECIFIC MUSIC THAT I HEARD. THANK YOU AGAIN. MAY YOU LIVE LONG FOR POSTING THIS MANTOVANI RENDITION.
Wow, my late mother loved this song when she was young, I had a rendition of it played during my wedding recessional. This is beautiful and brings tears of joy to my eyes, every time...thanks for posting this!
The first time i heard this instrumental version, wow, i was in awe! My favorite version with vocals is the one by the Ray Conniff singers, but this is the best instrumental version!
In the 60s I was a Rocker - yeah, leathers and motorbike, Elvis and Eddie Cochran. But in private I used to sit and play my parents' Mantovani LPs, and be totally entranced. I still am. If my friends at that time had found out, my credibility would have been totally shot!
Haven't played my Mantovani LPs in many years. Hearing this again reminded me of why I bought them - pure pleasure. Incidentally, in my view the best recorded vocal version of this song is by, of all people, Max Bygraves!
I was born in 1966😊beautiful music

This is the type of records that fill our cabinets, all obtained by my parents before they were married.
Eu tenho este disco azul, MANTOVANI TOUCH, um dos melhores discos que eu tenho, desde de 1969...
