Looks good! I would add some sort of cave hide or two tho, like cut plastic box or half a flower pot. My tort likes to take naps after eating and having hides ready also prevents digging.
Thanks for the suggestion! It’s def on my to do list still! I had an idea, but the store didn’t have what I needed, so I had to pivot and think up a new idea lol!
Next time at the end while the music is playing and screen is black, Just let us watch Lemon eating. She's so beautiful! I have 2 rescue sulcatas. I love watching them . Thank you for the video! I'm getting those blocks and boards this weekend!
I see you have "Creeping Charlie" growing in the new fenced-in area where she eats. I read that Creeping Charlie is toxic to tortoises just like Oak Leaves. Did you have any issues over the summer?
It's my understanding that sulcata tortoises burrow forward and down, but not up. I've read that somewhere and that's what mine does....so far lol. Just wondering.
I just brought my tortoise I also live in nyc great ideas on the plants
Thank you! Enjoy your tort!
Great idea. I will do the same later.
Thanks! Was a great way to get something put together for her super quick!

Thank you! The video was supposed to end after the clip of her ended but apparently I forgot to cut the music and didn’t catch it 😅
Do I need some kind of gate or fence over the wood so big birds can’t get to him?
That’s up to you! Personally we don’t have anything here that could take off with a big tort like her 😂

No I didn’t but thank you for pointing it out! Once the snow melts after winter I’ll have to go out and inspect
does it get really cold in the winter? how'd you keep him in winter?
Yes we have winter and snow most of the year. She has a large indoor area being built in our basement
I would make your fencing a little higher x❤🐢
He won’t dig out???
This is my concern
