  • Here is the 3rd installment in the series of FALCON CREST introductions. Season 3 was released on DVD on May 17, 2013 exclusively through the WB shop. It is my hope that this complete set of previews for each of the 28 episodes, will get more fans interested and generate more orders of this amazing DVD box set. It has been restored with the best sound and picture quality available, as can be seen in these colorful clips.
The announcer's cue, "FALCON CREST WILL CONTINUE." is included to express that season 4 will be released on DVD, but ONLY if enough orders are placed for season 3.
    NO COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT IS INTENDED.

Aborting the buried treasure storylines in the next season was one of the worst mistakes ever on the show. I would have loved to see its true version...not the truncated version we got.

I hated Melissa and loved Richard! Melissa was a hateful witch! Richard had a redeeming quality. I loved Cliff Robertson. Great actor!

Loved when they introduced Terry to the show, but sad when they killed off her character 2 and a half years later in the earthquake

Sure it dragged a bit, but it was more interesting and had more value than a lot of the other storylines. I liked the fact that Julia thought her Mother was trying to kill her.

Richard Channing's dramatic arc as the bastard stepson of Angela Channing was completely flushed down the toilet during later seasons when he was ridiculously exposed as her real son who had been kidnapped by Jacqueline and presumed to have been stillborn right after Angela gave birth to him many years ago.

It was clever bring in a clip from Johnnie Belinda where she was mute and had a baby whom died
      My view anyway!

They should have made it the Jaqueline had a stillborn son and Douglas swapped the babies.

I don't agree. I think it was a clever attempt to have a show star accuesed & convicted with murders & dealing with its concequences storywise. In that regard, I think Falcon Cresr served as a pioneer for a future charachtors in american soaps history, such as Jill Bennet (Knots Landing), Shila Karter (The Young & the Restless), Todd Manning (One Life To Live), to name a few. In my eyes, that actually makes the season superb, & unfortunately, what happens later on with Julia's dissappointing

    Except Richard wasn't really Jacqueline's son! ;)

Even Only Being In Elementary School At The Time, I Watched This Show Just Because Of The Julia Cumson Character!!! Was Glad That Julia Was Brought Back After She Was Wrongfully Shot At In The Spring House Scene And Left Too Burn Too Death!!! If Julia Had Shot Angela, I Would Have Still Loved Her, As Angela Had It Coming!!! I Sympathized And Agreed With A That Julia Did!!! Julia Cumson Was More Significant Too Falcon Crest Than Angela Was, I Will Always Maintain!!!!!

Me too i love Julia Channing Cumson...
      I understand Julia Channing Cumson...
I know Julia in autum of 1991, in a repetition of the series...
But in 1997 in another repetition, is when Julia Cumson is my favourite character...

In the late 1970's Cliff Robertson was a Narrator in a Movie called "Fraternity Row' that showed the "Hard" Side of Fraternity Pledging. He played The Grown Up Roger who reminisced about being part of Gamma Nu Pie at Summit College in the early 1950's.

I think Season 3 just bested Season 2 as FC's finest. Sadly, the first 3 brilliant seasons of FC would begin to jump the shark in Season 4 with the ridiculous Nazi plot. Seasons 5 and 6 were good enough, but the last 3 were so atrocious that I have refused to watch them since initially zoning out in 1988.

The whole Julia Cumson storyline was just one BIG drag from episode 1 untill 27 of this season 3 going nowhere! I think they had the actress under contract, would not pay her out so wrote a complete useless storyline to honor the contract since they decides to make her the killer of Carlo Agretti and Jacqueline Perrault at the end of season 2 which was not envisioned early on in the season! So they wrote that character into a corner and had to keep her the whole season 3.
