Emilie, thanks to you, I no longer feel like a freak of nature, due to being a polymath in what I call the Hobby of the Month Club. I've been a jack-of-all trades my entire life, my many pursuits including art, music, and authoring two books, and always felt like there was something wrong with me because I never could settle on one specialty. I've been labelled as shallow, flighty, and irresponsible because of my many interests, but now I know that my abilities are a blessing, not a curse. Hi Emilie! I'm 42 and I have been seaching my whole life thinking I was not normal switching from one interest to another. People around me kept telling me I never finish anything. I just didn't have the adrenaline I had when I started and was now interested in something else. I am happy to see that I am not alone. I just ordered your book and can't wait to read it. Thank you Emilie, for letting me know who I am when I was in my struggling stage. I cried after watching your Ted talk, with so much of relief. That video helped me when I was in a pickle with depression and helped me take some brave decisions. I suffer from anxiety disorder and I recently had 2 epileptic seizure episodes, about 12 years after my first seizure. So, I was wondering if you could help me find something about the neurological aspect of multi-potentiality, to figure out if it has something to do with my seizures. Thanks again.
