Her face immediately puts up her guard on the subject of safety. Gotta respect that, there's no sense introducing fear into her and 'thoughts' into someone else. It's too bad that many of us viewers get to feel that we 'know' the creators, it's for that reason that many don't want to open up to that vulnerability. It can't be easy. I’m a huge fan of Wonderhussys but dang that video was cringy to watch. I dunno if something was going on in her life but she was very unpleasant in that video and her attitude was really off putting. This sucks because she’s my absolute favorite RUclipsr of all time but dang I feel like I seen a different side of her.
Three things that scared the crap out of me when I was a 4 years old kid. A huge poster of Bela Lugosi walking down the stairs in the movie Dracula, which was purposely placed on the door at the top of our basement steps by my parents. They also dragged me to see the movie "The Exorcist" at a drive-in theater. Also, that same year, I was introduced to that very scene you spoke of from "The Fly" watching a Saturday afternoon movie. Wish I could go back in time and experience it all again.

I was tired and went to bed with the intention of rewatching to the end. You mentioned you may go to the fundraiser in Tecopa. My husband and I met you there last year. Hi, Mike! I like your videos and I can tell you are an "old school" type of guy. I'm 70 and I can relate! I noticed on the "Mike and Sarah Bike and Hike" video she kind of rubbed you the wrong way at the end of the hike. End of Hike; cut to Sarah exiting the van and there was about a 15 foot drop off she had to avoid! It was kind of like a, "So, how do you like me now?" moment from the "Mr. Subliminal Renaissance Man." (I approve! 😝).
I too follow Sarah Jane and also Truck house Life because Timmy is kind of a jack of all trades and not at all afraid to do something new. I too used to live in Alaska. I also like your way of explaining things. Keep your stick on the ice.
I originally thought you two would be a good pair. I like her videos. That said, after seeing her in your videos and in vids from other youtubers when she is not in her Wonderhussy persona, she seems to be someone who is better in small doses.

If your knee starts hurting again, get yourself a mueller knee strap. My knee would ache for hours after going hiking or if I was using the ladder a lot. It was a constant pain, but no swelling like you were saying in the video. I just put the knee strap on as tight as I can get it and no more knee pain after hiking.
The speaker issue could be related to software and not hardware, especially if they issued a software/firmware update. If there’s a warranty they might already have a fix for it instead of risking voiding the rest of it. Perhaps by prior arrangement they could work on it while you wait to save time. If most people can have an iPhone battery replaced same day maybe they can do the same with the laptop. It kind of depends on their staffing situation. I had an older brother in the Air Force so it reminds me of him when he used to talk about women. He lived up there near North Pole (was Moose Creek) before his death. I never made it back up there to visit the area so it’s been years now.

Sara is fine and a great content creator. For me she has lost a little of her charm and I guess my visit to Tecopa in February was part of that. I waited in line for an hour and a half and then she spent time with one person for 25 minutes. I am from the east coast and was hoping to say hello. I gave up and walked over and chatted with the other Sarah (Wandering Jeepsy). I saw you in the back under your canopy and wished I had stopped to say hello. You were chilling looked like security back there.😉 Anyways Sara is cool just my lackluster experience. Not sure if SIFPD will have a Flea Market in February 2025. Im contemplating Tecopa ! It would be the perfect time, in the year, to say screw THIS, and do it. For, you could say lots of "firsts". Like flying in a JUMBO JET Airplane, meet and greets, just be in California (😂😂😂) and checking out Ross's MINE. And that list could really grow...know what im saying ? 🦿🇺🇸
