  • After 3 strikes, one should be out, right?
    Peeling paint, bad Glazing, rippling, non-fulfillment of an order.
    I was quite disappointed in the way all my attempts to obtain my Birthday bag resulted, but at the end of the day, celebrating another year alive and healthy is what I will be most thankful for on my Birthday 🙏
    🤔 what would you do? Exchange the Pochette Metis? I didn’t have the patience to do that since I don’t have a store local to me.

    Thank you so much for sharing your LV story! It’s very helpful. It’s terrible that LV kept messing up your order. You are absolutely right that the customers deserve top quality products and services after paying so much for a bag.

    First Happy Birthday again! LV needs to get it together! That’s wholly unacceptable! I know you were disappointed and beyond frustrated. UGH! I’m sorry you had that experience. The decline in quality control and customer service is staggering. Hopefully you’ll get your birthday bag soon - whether it's a perfect LV PM or another handbag altogether.

    I’m so sorry about what you had to go through. I also went through that same spiral of continuous disappointment with LV and after a few attempts, I just became exhausted and needed time to recover. Hence I totally understand about the need to take a break because we should be all excited when our purses arrive but when it’s continuous disappointment when we open, it leaves a really bad taste and for me, I started to lose that excitement over time (as I figured the chances of a defect was higher which is quite sad). I got some DUYP products and I agree their products are good quality. Still waiting for my Paris 15 in burgundy (hope the wait is worth it!). I’m tempted to pull the trigger on the black Paris 15 in gold hw but part of me wants to wait to see how the burgundy turns out! Thanks for your video!

    I am so sorry all of this happened! I can’t believe after 20 days they still hadn’t refunded you! That’s insane! I would’ve called and dogged them out. Happy belated birthday! I hope you are not disappointed like this again in your future purchases for the year! Very unfortunate none of these bags were perfect!!

    So sorry you went through that. I had a similar issue a couple years ago w the Palm Springs backpack. I ended up after a 3rd attempt on the repair getting a store credit. I then purchased a Pochette Metis and it was defective, they fixed it, then the glazing literally was sticky like melting glue. After that I quit with LV and not been back. I never have bad luck with Loewe, Bottega, Hermes etc… and the Customer service is lacking at LV as well. They can keep their stuff.

    Hey sweetie, first off I was to say the blouse you have on is lovely and the color looks so nice on you. Awww i am so sorry this happened to you especially since this was a special purchase for your birthday. What makes if even more awful is the price we pay for LV bags. Their inspection process should be top notch. Again, so sorry you had this experience and no we should accept anything less when we are spending out money not matter what the brand. If I buy something from Target. I will return if I'm not happy with the item......tfs with us xoxo

    Happy Birthday! Hate that you had those bad experiences with LV. I had a terrible experience getting one of my bags repaired with them not too long ago. It was a nightmare. Their quality and service has really declined over the years. Hopefully, you’ll find some forgotten gems when you purge your closet. 😊

    Happy Birthday! May was my birthday month too. I also attempted to get a birthday bag, took me 3 tries before I got a good one, lol. My one and only LV bag, I realized a couple of days ago, was missing a piece of glazing. It's barely noticeable as it's in a tight folded area, but even still, I just got it in February. Not sure if I didn't notice or if it's already come off, but neither feels acceptable. All this money these bags cost, you have expectations for perfection, understandably. Sorry getting your bag has been such a trial. Hopefully you will at least be able to enjoy your Paris 15.

      Happy Belated Birthday! Mine is next week. I don’t doubt that I will enjoy my Paris15. I have not had any quality issues with any of my DUYP pieces, not to say it can’t possibly happen, but I have received about a dozen pieces without flaws and impeccably packaged. It really says a lot. LV needs to step it up! Have you taken your bag for LV to look at it?

      @@TheHopefulminimalist It's crazy you've had no issues with DUYP but constantly have issues with LV. I have not taken mine in. I just realized it a few days ago. I wasn't even going to take it in, because I just know they are going to tell me 'normal wear and tear' or charge me some hundreds of dollars to fix it and I'll see it 3 months later. It's just so annoying. Maybe I still will, have to think about it.

    I am so sorry you had to go through all of the BS with LV. When paying that type of money, you would think their customer service would be A+. I had an issue with the 1st Pochette Metis also. The inside of my handbag was crocket and I think the handbag was probably a return because it looked used.

    I’m so sorry that you had those disappointing experiences. It sucks SOOOOO BAD when you have the money for a bag & can’t get one. That glazing & crooked clasp is simply unacceptable from Louis Vuitton. Instead of questioning your motives for returns they should be reaching out to ask what they are doing wrong. IMO! Maybe you should be looking at YSL for a birthday bag. Or Bottega!!!! Or Fendi!! 😮

    Yes, LV is expensive. Wow, this is surprising. I am sorry this happened to you. This is unacceptable. I can’t believe they sent a bag out like that.

      @@carysa227 hi. Yes! I have a couple and they are exquisite! I still love the LV canvas but DUYP has a better quality bag in my opinion.
