Colombo to Bangalore: Indian Cuisine Nirvana at the Taj
Craving a taste of India? Bangalore beckoned, and a quick flight from Colombo had us there in a jiffy. After settling in at the luxurious Taj Bangalore, just steps from the airport, our sights were set on their famed Tamarind restaurant.
Opting for the set menu, we embarked on a flavor journey through North India. From melt-in-your-mouth kebabs to rich, aromatic curries, each course was a revelation. We were then invited to don chefs hats and we were taken back into the kitchen to see how they utilize the tandoori ovens. The attentive service and beautiful ambience only added to the experience.
Bellies full, hearts happy, this was the perfect introduction to Bangalore's culinary scene, but no time to linger, we are off in the AM to find Bengal Tigers!
