- How To permanently Disable VW Atlas Auto Start Stop function using B2BFab jumper harness.
This Jumper harness defaults the auto start/stop to the off position but doesn't permanently disable it. Meaning, When you start the car, it was always be switched off, you don't have to do anything to turn it off. But, If you wanted to turn it on for some reason, say you're sitting in a target drive up waiting on a pickup order, you can turn it back on with the push of the button.

When you disabled it this way did it affect the auto start option with the key fob?
Nope remote start works as it should. What this does is when the car starts it just defaults auto start stop to off

Thanks for the video it was helpful to see how you popped off the trim. I think this harness just waits after start and then “presses” the button for you. So when you turned it off manually the first time that’s why it reversed it to back on after a few seconds. I don’t think it remembers any settings. Also I own OBDEleven and VAG COM and neither allow you to do this through software at this time. This is the only clean solution. Just got mine today. Thanks!

Hi thank you for this video i did exactly the same but i got airbag yellow error message so i removed the connector but stillbgot the airbag message i feel so bad now. 2019 atlas
I'd say it's unrelated and coincidental. Auto start stop and airbags are unrelated.

I also since have learned that by doing so the way that I did, I'd prematurely cause the battery to fail.

Does the cover go back on flush? Im having trouble with that part.
Yes the cover should go back on exactly how it was prior to it being touched
@@LarryFopps did the cord go straight back? The cover goes on, but it’s not flush like it was before.

Just press the “A Off” button beside the emergency button.
That you have to do everytime you start the car. This defaults auto start stop to off
