Couldn't help but notice you cut the bread in half first and then made each half into a PB&J instead of making a whole PB&J sandwich and then cutting the completed sandwich in half. I'm not sure how to feel about that.😂
@@Magnum1- 😊 I didn't think about the fact that I was doing it that way. I guess it's because I was doing a half for each of us and I often do different ratios of toppings since we have different preferences!
All very nice. Funny how colder weather brings out the surfers. North of Chicago, they surf on Lake Michigan in October and sometimes even later. They even do wind surfing and kite surfing while catching big air and flying over several waves at a time. Brrr. I'll watch them all from the warm car, er, van. Safe travels. 2+2+1
Those barricades at the end of Ocean Rd are there because during storms boulders get tossed onto the road, new Castle beach is open to the public. You drove by my home.
@@dmottley We did actually spot that park from where we stopped. Sadly we were limited on time and had to keep moving! (It also looked like the road that was blocked used to connect to that park possibly?)
@@mythicalnomadadventure969 It gets too cold for us in those southwestern states. We like the subtropics of south Florida! 😊 But we hope to do a big loop around the country next year and maybe come through some of the southwestern states again.

We've had a few elusive landmarks on our travels, much like the lighthouse in this episode. All part of the adventure.
That's very true - it adds to the adventure! And the search can be fun and take you to places your weren't expecting!
Beautiful scenery !!!
Hope you guys have a good time with Steve's family, Merry Christmas !!!

@@rongreen7308 I image that's because there are bigger waves when it's colder/windier? The warmth of the van sounds just fine to me! Lol!
@@SteveAudra Yup. The weather changes and chases the boaters off the lake about the time September closes out
It's about 12 Fahrenheit / feels like -1 as I watch this a short distance away from "Portsmith". Fun seeing travelers in semi familiar territory.👍👍
Brrrr! 🥶 We are glad we were there before temps plummeted! What a beautiful area. Thanks for watching!
Nice!
I'm traipsing around FL in my van enjoying the beautiful beaches!
It's hard to beat Florida beaches!!!
@@southerngirlyall6497 Which beaches are your favorites?
@SteveAudra Fort Myers and the causeway at Anna Maria Island and Dunedin because I can park by the water, take out my chair, and enjoy the views😎!!

You missed the large park that was about a mile down the road that would have given you great views of the lighthouse, a beach etc.
