As a nurse we are all a team. We have your back. I’ve saved many doctors from making mistakes. You are not alone. There are many disciplines involved in patient care and are checking each other along the way. Pharmacists are one of the greatest assets. They are always willing to help. It’s a part of learning. Even the most seasoned nurses and doctors make mistakes. We won’t let you accidentally hurt the patient 😉. With that being said, please be nice to us.

When people tell us things like that without knowing us and our situation or circumstances it almost hurts even more because it’s a false hope. I’m one of those people who grew up thinking I wasn’t good enough, wasn’t smart enough, didn’t have the mental or emotional capacity... but I had people along the way who gave me hope, and believed in me. Then more importantly I began to believe in myself. Years later I have that coveted “Dr” in front of my name. I barely passed high school, I failed out of community college my first year, I come from a relatively poor family, none of which were doctors or could support my education.. I’m sorry that believing in people and trying to boost their confidence is offensive to you. But I’m not going to stop doing that people I’m glad there was people who did that for me. Tbh I'm very interested in your residency vlogs - they are just as helpful as your med school vlogs. I am still in undergrad, but I'm the kind of person who wants to know what they can expect if they follow a certain career path. Oh my god, I am still a medical student and I really relate to what you do, here in Mexico the system is different but we also do clinical rotation and I also relate with running around and still not feeling useful and then sometimes you are left with things you don't even know what to do. But even if I feel like I don't know what to do, it still makes me so happy to learn and to be in my dream job. Medicine truly makes me happy. Seriously sending you all my good vibes❤

I have incomplete paralysis and couldn't get an accurate diagnosis by FOUR neurosurgeons because they all covered up for one another until I finally got my highly ethical Orthopedic Surgeon who properly diagnosed me with severe adhesive arachnoiditis. Please always give your patients their accurate diagnosis, regardless how it may affect your colleagues. A timely, accurate diagnosis may mean the difference of having options for treatment or not. It isn't any doctors place to protect anyone, even themselves. If you screw up, then you screw up. Patients have more respect for those who own up and admit it than for those who hide and cover up. Please be the better doctor - I trust you will! ❤️

I'm not even a medical student nor have I ever been interested in pursuing a medical profession but as a college student, your content inspires me to be a better student and to continue learning. I've been watching your videos since your second year at medical school and I am so glad I found your channel. RUclips would lose a great content creator if you retired!
Your independence and determination is so incredible to me. I mean, assembling your vanity and mounting your tv by yourself, working 3 exhausting shifts with no sleep... you're just so inspiring. Oh my god, I am still a medical student and I really relate to what you do, here in Mexico the system is different but we also do clinical rotation and I also relate with running around and still not feeling useful and then sometimes you are left with things you don't even know what to do. But even if I feel like I don't know what to do, it still makes me so happy to learn and to be in my dream job. Medicine truly makes me happy.

Please don’t stop youtube! Your videos are so genuine compared to others and we have watched you grow and there is still so much to see and be able to watch you grow through your doctor years. The days in a life for doctors are also very interesting and there is much more serious and fun things happening now than previously when it was test after test (though they were fun to watch). 2 nd year in medical college...i was hating myself for taking medicine then i saw your vlogs and realised ppl all over world go through same grueling training in med school...thank you...and please keep making vlogs!
Your honesty and sincerety is refreshing. I have incomplete paralysis and couldn't get an accurate diagnosis by FOUR neurosurgeons because they all covered up for one another until I finally got my highly ethical Orthopedic Surgeon who properly diagnosed me with severe adhesive arachnoiditis. Please always give your patients their accurate diagnosis, regardless how it may affect your colleagues. A timely, accurate diagnosis may mean the difference of having options for treatment or not. It isn't any doctors place to protect anyone, even themselves. If you screw up, then you screw up. Patients have more respect for those who own up and admit it than for those who hide and cover up. Please be the better doctor - I trust you will! ❤️
