I dunno, they already dropped like 4 singles for the thing before the album even released. Personally I think Ok Human was way more hype inducing both due to its style and also that we only got one song for it before release.

There is a writing credit to D. Roeser on this one. D. Roeser AKA Buck Freakin' Dharma! The guy who wrote DFTR, Godzilla, Box On My Head and many BOC classics. He's the head songwriter and an original member of BOC.

I won't lie. I really missed the "The Cars-like" choruses and all that. Loving this.
It was cool they added a clip of Ric Ocasek at the end when he was in studio with Weezer recording the blue album.

I kind of liked the verse vocal melody better on the nimaime version. Catchier IMO.

The engineering on this is soothing.

I like how they went from shreddy loud guitars rock band music to a sorta chill orchestra songs, and then get back to loud guitar rock band music in less than 4 months. I'm so hyped for Van Weezer.

I hear a lot of EWBAITE which is cool, It was a great album. I don't hear enough of the Van Weezer vibe they set in the first singles though. Which bums me out just a little. Still a great song just feels a little out of place for the vibe they are looking for.
