When you began using the heat tool at the end and all the textures started forming, I thought, wow! Then when you spritzed it....it was amazing!!!! Very beautiful. Stunning. Well done!
Gorgeous card! Love the alcohol ink colors & snowflake stencil along with the snowflake tinsel embossing powder, magnificent!!! Thanks for sharing your time & talent with us!
The background before the snowflakes reminds me of a fairy forest at night. Totally awesome. The finished card is pretty and soooo festive. Beautiful job. Still in awe over your video on creating the die cut border with SNC. So talented, you are.
This card is so elegant and winter! I love the technique using the alcohol inks for the background with the stencil embossing over it.Thanks for sharing this video ✨🎁🎯.
That is gorgeous!11!! Relatively easy I love it I’ve never just put versa marked through a stencil before but I’ll be doing it pretty soon so thanks Alexandra another great idea. Don’t tell anyone but I love snowflakes I probably don’t have more than 50 or 60 of them....
I’m making holiday cards with alcohol inks backgrounds, and this would make a nice variation from whatI have planned, which will make the job of 56 individual cards more interesting for me to create. Great idea, and I will be careful with the heat tool, but it looks like we can settle them down, in the ways you suggested. Thanks so much!
I was glad to learn about not spraying alcohol, did not know about that. Just wondering if anyone else had problems hearing? I LOVE the card and the techniques you used. I'm just learning about A.I.'s and have many stamps and also have a small sizzix machine. Thanks so much for sharing the video, first time here.
Thanks so much Donna, I also did not know about spraying blending solution unitl a viewer told me; I always did it well ventilated but 91% alcohol works just great too
Hedgehog Hollow Is it my computer or does anyone else have problems hearing your voice. With my volume pumped up to max, still can't hear. I can hear if i put a headset. My computer is fairly new.
Sarah Wold If you preheat your heat gun for a good 30-40 seconds then hold the heat gun further away then normal slowly heating the Embossing Powder for 2 seconds and pull away before the Yupo gets too hot then apply the heat again. Keep repeating this until all of the powder is melted and the Yupo won’t warp nearly as bad. Hope this makes sense.
The card is beautiful, we had snow a couple weeks ago, way early for us. Thank you for sharing the process, everything doesn't always go as smoothly as we' planned, it's good to see working through the opportunities that await. I notice you have picked up some interesting subscribers. :-)
Beautiful card. I have not had the courage to work with AI's yet, I only have one set of three. I think it's time to get some more and get to working with them. Thanks for this gorgeous example of using all these products. I wonder if the Yupo paper would warp so much if you took the time to use the Tim Holtz heater.
I was wondering if you let the heat tool preheat before melting the embossing powder? I've never tried heat embossing on Yupo, since as you said it is a plastic paper. But I would think, if you preheated the heat tool for several seconds and didn't hold the heat on the paper too long at a time, it might not warp/melt the Yupo, or at least not as badly. I know that's a tip with heat-resistant acetate & vellum. Anyway, something to consider. Love how your card turned out in the end--that background panel you created is stunning! :)
The one she used is actually superior to the one Ranger makes, so if it doesn’t work, then the Ranger one is unlikely to. The problem is Yupo “paper” is like plastic, so it doesn’t stand up to heat well.

It looked like u warped the upper right hand area when u heat embossed and didn't flatten back down. I like the idea but think I'll try technic using glossy cardstock rather than yupo.
OHHHH...I’ve always heard you should NEVER put blending solution into a spray bottle as it can harm your eyes and lungs. Alcohol is ok in a spray bottle though...it can sting your eyes, but will do no harm. Otherwise, I LOVE your card!!! I would hate to see you harmed!!! 💕
yes you never ever spray the blending solution. rubbing alcohol is what you should use when you want to spray. it does contain a resin binder that will harm your lungs and i heard this from tim holtz's mouth personally
Bizarre way of doing things. Interesting that she STILL didn’t put a warning about spraying alcohol blending solution. I would take all of her ‘advise’ with a grain of salt......
Hi Becky I was not aware about spraying the blending solution until a viewer told me; it does not say on the bottle and I unfortunately can't edit a video once it's uploaded; i have mentioned it in many future videos though and I have a disclaimer in the video decription
Clarification: rubbing alcohol can be sprayed but only in a well ventilated area. Rubbing alcohol is sold in spray bottles in some pharmacies. That’s not the issue here. In the video, she’s spraying the Alcohol BLENDING Solution. That is SUPER dangerous. The blending solution will adhere to absolutely everything it comes in contact with and will coat it. If a tiny bit is inhaled in droplets from being sprayed, it will line the esophagus and lungs. If it gets in the eyes, it will coat the eyeball. DO NOT SPRAY ALCOHOL BLENDING SOLUTION.
Geez! I think all of you freaking about the spraying should probably just close and lock your craft room doors forever. Crafting is far too dangerous and scary for you 🙄

I love that card. It was so nice I have to try it myself. 😊

I'd love to see what you create!
If I have enough guts to post it you will see it, I am playing with making alcohol inks right now from a you tube diy video!
Wow so pretty, there are no mistakes in crafting we always can still use them at some point but this card is so pretty.
Thanks so much, you are so right

Hi, because Yupo is a plastic paper it warps with heat, I have since learnt that the TH Glossy Carstock is best for embossing on top of AI x
So the heat gun is making the Yupo warp or buckle? Melt?
Love this. It is beautiful. Thank you.
Thanks so much
Very nice and amazing
Thanks
Beautiful card! Much love and God bless you tfs oxox hugs 😍
Thanks
Love the shot! 👌
CUTE....TFS
Love your channel so much

How are you sealing the ink?

Your welcome.

Beautiful ❗️
Do u use special paper for alcohol inks?
It's beautiful!!!!!!
This card is stunning ! I was wondering what brand of alcohol inks you used on this ? The colors are beautiful.
I use the ranger ones, in my opinion they are the best
Thank you. I have learned some absolutely amazing new techniques from watching your videos, and I really appreciate all that you have shared.
Thank you so much, you're so welcome
Cool
Beautiful 😍😍😍
Awesome!💓Nice 😛💖💞💘
Love this video, would it work just as good using glossy photo paper please? Thanks so much for sharing this, just subscribed to your Chanel! xx
Photo paper cannot be embossed on it will bubble instantly, you could use a glossy cardstock though. Welcome the to the Hollow too.
Thank you , will get some glossy card stock! :) can't wait to play now! lol! xx
Love It
Thanks
Can't see why you wouldn't use a glitter gel like Stickles with the stencil, so you get the same effect but don't heat / ruin your paper?
Hey sweetie!!! I just love it sooooooo sooooooo much!!! You are so creative and talented 😘😘😘😘tfs😍😍😍

Omg)!it's so amazing)!!🙈🙉🙊
Amazing 😉
Fantastic :)
very nice 💖 💯
Thanks
So sweet
I think I would try my ranger heat it tool for embossing powder on YUPO
I have never been successful, let me know if you get it to work

How do you look so flawless
Super geil
Thanks

It did warp hence I showed you some ways I fixed it, on the whole its now pretty fast I think
Hedgehog Hollow great video, March 2018, love stenciling over alcohol inks, then embossing, hands on is the best way, thanks goldiegirl6161@yahoo.com
😍😍😍
You should not be spraying the blending solution. It has a binder/resin in it that can harm your lungs.
I'm new at alcohol inks, how do you use blending solution?
Tim Holtz has been very clear about the resin in blending solution. It should never be misted. You can spritz plain 91% alcohol for this technique.
@@brianconrad6543 drip from the bottle, no spraying
I have never used tim holtz blending solution. We always used rubbing alcohol to clean glass and sprayed it in science class.

give you abig big kiss😘. lovely
Alcohol should NOT sprayed! The molecule can get into the lungs.
you could wear a mask perhaps and in well ventilated room??
Clarification: rubbing alcohol can be sprayed but only in a well ventilated area. Rubbing alcohol is sold in spray bottles in some pharmacies. That’s not the issue here. Exactly Betty! Tim Holtz even warns against spraying the blending solution in his tutorials.
You’re absolutely right, Jana. I hope people notice that and don’t decide to mix up their own batch of sprayable blending solution.
Geez! I think all of you freaking about the spraying should probably just close and lock your craft room doors forever. Crafting is far too dangerous and scary for you 🙄
No..wrong. the blending solution is not like dye sprays. The resin can bind with your lungs and do permanent damage. It is not water soluble.
Love the shot! 👌
