Sina, this particular GLC300 4MATIC Coupe only has the single knob because the vehicle is not equipped with the "Multimedia Package" (COMAND Navigation). The touchpad you are used to seeing is only available on vehicles that have the "Multimedia Package". I agree, the look of the single control knob is much more clean/sleek of a look!

You can have both the COMAND navigation system and Smart Phone Integration on the same vehicle.
