In the video I placed the weight down on the screen when the glue is applying. You’re actually supposed to place that down once the glue is already dispersed on the screen protector. I said it last year and the year before, Samsung should have the option to pre-install a screen protector at the factory. It would be a great way to show how much they care about the environment, especially with them omitting the charger and all. The climate crisis is overblown. We are seeing the effect of the vulcano explosion on Iceland and generally it was colder in the year 1650 than in 1750, 1850, 1950 and 2024. But other than that I agree. I have the S24U but when I got my Xiaomi 11t Pro I got a case, a 120w charger and a screen protector already in the package. They fitted the screen protector perfectly. If it wasn't for the pen I'd get the Xiaomi 14t Ultra.
I have a S24+ and I used the Spigen glass screen protector with no issue. It's crystal clear and the fingerprint sensor works flawlessly. Now that Samsung switched to a flat display, these protectors that require glue and curing are a waste of time and money.
Not really. Still are very high quality screen protectors. I'm going to try some more out and determine if the WSD is now irrelevant but I don't think they are.
Agreed, I use to put these expensive Dome protectors only because of the curve in the screens....NO MORE, the flat screen makes these useless and unnecessary. Plus you can get packs of 2 or 5 depending on with protector you get for way less than this rip-off
Agreed you don't need this version with the glue. I got the non glue whitestone tempered glass and it went on flawlessly with no issues. Save yourself some money people and get the non glue version as the glue was more for curved screens
Yeah WSD is obsolete. I got this quick setup glass screen protectors from Amazon where I was able to install the screen and literally 30 seconds and the fingerprint sensor works flawlessly. If you're paying $50 plus for a screen protector you are absolutely wasting your money.
Yes, I can attest to that. Now that samsung switched to flat screens, you can apply most regular glass screen protectors and not have to deal with the complicated liquid glue ones.
Just get the Zagg or Spigen glass screen protector. Spigen is cheaper and super easy install. Zagg is more expensive but has warranty and is a little bit more clear glass. Avoid Dome screen protectors and don't risk getting the adhesive into the edges of the screen. Also the adhesive ruins the oleophobic coating on the screen
I'm going to try them out because I hear people keep saying that. I've thrown three already away from various brands and the WSD is the best I've tried so far.

I've used it before and got a replacement. Never found it to ruin oleophobic coating either. Pulled mine off my s21 U to sell it and it's pretty much the same as before. Not sure what OP is talking about there.
I actually got this one for my S23 Ultra recently (I decided to give my S23 Ultra some love since the S24 series dropped) and installed it with the help of your instruction video from last year 😄 Got a flawless installation and due to the curved display of the S23U (glad they finally got completely rid of it with the S24U) I think it’s the best option 👍🏼

If im buying an expensive phone like the S24 Ultra, I want the best protection and functionality. I've tried other screen protectors before that didn't work as well and the fingerprint function sucked. I guess only time will tell, but my S24 U is getting this screen protector and a UAG case. First time I'm buying a new phone since 2019 and my Note 10 + is still nearly flawless using the aforementioned products
This is the phone that sets the trend! On the other hand, the almost four times cheaper Poco X6 Pro will basically offer flagship parameters. I tested the X6 Pro cameras on my channel and I was really blown away by the top quality.

I love white stone. I always used these on the curved displays but this year they made a tempered glass like normal flat screens as well which is what I got and it’s kinda like the spigen easy install. Only issue with the new dope display is that with the tempered glass you get reflections back. But I got kids that grab my phone so gotta protect it.
It's scratches easy trust me in the real world. I put my phone in the side pocket of the car and realised when I got my phone out the car it had alot of grazes/scratches on it. Just trust me don't take the risk. Going for white stone dome to hide the scratches
You dont really need a case for a 24 ultra screen protector is must though. The only thing I had to do with my screen protector was to re finger the the print after that it works perfectly fine.
I bought some conventional style glass screen protectors on Amazon and the fingerprint scanner works perfectly. I've used WSD protectors with previous Ultra devices due to the curve but I don't see any reason to use them now.
I've been a Whitestone Dome fan for many years, used your vids for guidance as well. I just got my protector in this past weekend...went through the process like usual. The glue seems to not be enough. Did it just like normal and even let it sit for almost 5 min to disperse....it still didn't cover the bottom of the phone. Took it off and cleaned it and decided to clean it all up and use the second screen and try again....same result, but this time it made it to the bottom but left tiny bubbles under it near the middle where the rubber weight was. Very disappointing, and for me it's been worth the price usually, because the quality, but this was a big step backward. I will say I am leaving it on with the bubbles until I can get another protector, not from whitestone this time. The fingerprint does work great, but the glue isn't quite enough and the screen slides around and you have to adjust it, as well as the odd way to clip the phone this time....too many negatives on this complex process this go around.
I not a fan of screen protector that you have to put glue on it. I like the screen protectors that has the outside edge is sticky and those work just fine

theres no difference in strength from whitestome dome compared to mr shields you do all that extra stuff but the mr shields 8$ 2 pack screen protector literally is the same protection same hardness scale same scratch resistance no reason to pay so much more for the same product that comes from the same plant that makes all of the screen protectors
For all the people that are saying that you don’t need the adhesive liquid tempered glass screen protector because the screen is “flat” are wrong because the screen literally isn’t fully flat. Checked out the s24u in person and felt that there is still a slight curve at the side of the screen. Don’t get why everyone is saying that it is flat when in reality it’s not
I've had 2 of these on my S21+. Both had cracked, BUT THATS NOT THE POINT. I could care less about cost, how many come in a package, or how hard they are to install. My primary consideration is scratch resistance and impact protection. As a fleet technician my phone exists in a harsh environment. I've dropped steel wrenches on my phone screen, subjected it to fine hardened steel metal shavings and I've dropped it more times than I can count. Even tho both dome glass protectors have cracked, my screen is still flawless underneath. I also don't have any visual impeding screen protector damage. This leads me to believe that the dome glass is very hard, enabling a high resistance to scratching. In my research, this is a criteria which is typically lacking in less expensive tempered glass screen protectors. Yea great, you've got 10 glass protectors from your Amazon brand purchase. Except the lifespan of the protector is more likely reduced, and you have to spend more time overall removing and replacing the protectors constantly. In regards to impact resistance, I'm also very satisfied. Even in a cracked state, my dome glass protectors have maintained a perfect level of screen impact protection. While I'm no scientist, I can't help but consider a couple of possible reasons as to why. 1, the dome glass has been rigid enough to help disperse impact force over a larger area than that of the point of impact, therefore acting as a sort of damper from the impact. It also suggests that although rigid, it is ductile (flexible) enough to take a hit and not shatter. Yes mine have cracked, but these are long hairline cracks and not localized points where the glass has entirely shattered. There is a big difference. 2, I'm willing to bet the adhesive itself has something to do with dampening impacts. I think having a softer, pliable substrate between 2 hard surfaces furthers the protectors ability to dampen and disperse the load at the point of impact. Overall I'm super happy with my experience using the dome glass. Imo the objective of a 30,40,50,60 dollar screen protector investment is to protect your $1000+ investment, and the dome glass does just that. Who cares how cheap you got your screen protector for, if it fails and ends up costing you hundreds to replace the screen? Who cares how many screen protectors come in a package, if just 1 is properly doing the job it was designed to do? I'll be keeping an eye out for other protectors, simply because technologies change and improve. Most likely though, I'll be using Whitestone's product again on my soon to arrive S24 Ultra. Great video!

Sticking glue on your screen is nuts. There are loads of tempered glass protectors out there, less than half the price of the Whitestone, and will work perfectly well. More so, now because of the flat screen. Whitestone's days are numbered...
Yeah that’s concern too. I know they make protectors that doesn’t have any glue but you wonder about their longevity with the flat displays on the S series.
ANYBODY HAVING PROBLEMS WITH SCANNING PRINTS WITH A SCREEN PROTECTOR YOU NEED TO TURN TOUCH SENSITIVITY OFF (YES OFF) AND RE ENTER PRINTS. LEAVE TOUCH SENSITIVITY OFF THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH IT BEING ON WHERE ITS MAKING YOUR SCANNER NOT WORK. SPREAD THIS EVERYWHERE TO SAVE PEOPLE A HEADACHE.
I have used this Whitestone Dome screen protector system on my S22 Ultra and now the S23 Ultra. Probably skipping S24 this year. But hands down this WhiteStone Dome screen protector has been the best screen protector I've put on a phone. Love it, will continue to use it.
Be careful eith UV glue as it will stuck your s pen inside, so stickers are very important, Or just don't use this kind of UV glass. Gorilla Glass Armour is already strong enough that with one good case your mobile will be safe
If Apple would release their iMessage capability to all phones, I would drop my iPhone in a heartbeat to get the Galaxy. The look and feel is so much better . And cases look better too. I know this comment wasn’t related to the screen protector haha but just wanted to say it
Whitestone has gotten at least $200 out of me the last couple of years. I took a chance on some cheap matte glass screen protectors now that the display is flat and luckily it has been working out so far.

I use cheaper tempered glass protector, full gluce and don't need to use any liquid, it is safer alot than this whitestone and offer the same protection 😂
The biggest difference by this years S24 Ultra is that flat screen. For years i opted for the white stone dome screen protector but now im not paying that extra money what a $12 screen can do
True indeed but there are some people who still want a quality screen protector and you can't deny the quality of WSD imo. I've tried a few others and the edges are rough and this one it's smooth and comfortable to swipe. It's the little things for me.
Now the screen is flat, we have no need for the whitestone dome and their ridiculous price, i paid £12 for an LK tempered glass, it wemt on perfectly, and the fingerprint scanner works as normal.

whitestone always is but it's really really worth it. It's protected my screen from really nasty drops. For $1300, it's absolutely worth the pain

Yep I love the anti reflective coat but I just can't deal with getting a scratch on my display.
I don't need enable screen sensitivity and again fingers with dome glass on my s24u.

Maybe but Spigen screen protector is cheaper (half the price, way easier to apply) and works very well (it is Spigen!).
I'll have to try it becase I've tried a few and they have all been trash. About to order a Spigen right now.

In my research, this is a criteria which is typically lacking in less expensive tempered glass screen protectors. Yea great, you've got 10 glass protectors from your Amazon brand purchase. Except the lifespan of the protector is more likely reduced, and you have to spend more time overall removing and replacing the protectors constantly.
In regards to impact resistance, I'm also very satisfied. Even in a cracked state, my dome glass protectors have maintained a perfect level of screen impact protection. While I'm no scientist, I can't help but consider a couple of possible reasons as to why. 1, the dome glass has been rigid enough to help disperse impact force over a larger area than that of the point of impact, therefore acting as a sort of damper from the impact. It also suggests that although rigid, it is ductile (flexible) enough to take a hit and not shatter. Yes mine have cracked, but these are long hairline cracks and not localized points where the glass has entirely shattered. There is a big difference.
2, I'm willing to bet the adhesive itself has something to do with dampening impacts. I think having a softer, pliable substrate between 2 hard surfaces furthers the protectors ability to dampen and disperse the load at the point of impact.
Overall I'm super happy with my experience using the dome glass. Imo the objective of a 30,40,50,60 dollar screen protector investment is to protect your $1000+ investment, and the dome glass does just that. Who cares how cheap you got your screen protector for, if it fails and ends up costing you hundreds to replace the screen? Who cares how many screen protectors come in a package, if just 1 is properly doing the job it was designed to do?
I'll be keeping an eye out for other protectors, simply because technologies change and improve. Most likely though, I'll be using Whitestone's product again on my soon to arrive S24 Ultra.

Not many work well with the fingerprint scanner , actually most don’t even work with it. So yeah, not useless.

Sticking glue on your screen is nuts. There are loads of tempered glass protectors out there, less than half the price of the Whitestone, and will work perfectly well. More so, now because of the flat screen. Whitestone's days are numbered...
Yeah that’s concern too. I know they make protectors that doesn’t have any glue but you wonder about their longevity with the flat displays on the S series.

Man I still love the Dome Glass. I know people say you don't have to do all of this but it's still one of the best out there.
I have used this Whitestone Dome screen protector system on my S22 Ultra and now the S23 Ultra. Probably skipping S24 this year. But hands down this WhiteStone Dome screen protector has been the best screen protector I've put on a phone. Love it, will continue to use it.

Whitestone has gotten at least $200 out of me the last couple of years. I took a chance on some cheap matte glass screen protectors now that the display is flat and luckily it has been working out so far.

Biggest benefit this display is antireflex glass. This Whitestone kill it.
Of course it kills it, I think we all know that but some people care about their display protected instead because you will develop micro scratches.
The anti reflective film from ss sucks man. Scratches here and there easily.
amFilm were a fraction of the cost and work just as well. Whitestone dome is overpriced and honestly same quality as those cheap 5$ protectors

I use cheaper tempered glass protector, full gluce and don't need to use any liquid, it is safer alot than this whitestone and offer the same protection 😂

The biggest difference by this years S24 Ultra is that flat screen. For years i opted for the white stone dome screen protector but now im not paying that extra money what a $12 screen can do
True indeed but there are some people who still want a quality screen protector and you can't deny the quality of WSD imo. I've tried a few others and the edges are rough and this one it's smooth and comfortable to swipe. It's the little things for me.
Now the screen is flat, we have no need for the whitestone dome and their ridiculous price, i paid £12 for an LK tempered glass, it wemt on perfectly, and the fingerprint scanner works as normal.
