    Great review, like the addition of music this time. Regarding the cat’s cradle technique I have used this on my gel res 8 which has totally transformed them. Still not as locked in as my court ff2 but getting there. Keep up the good work.

    Thank for the insight Foot Doctor Zack 👍. I recently fell in love with the Addidas Sole Court Boost for my foot type only to find out they are discontinued. 😕. Following you advice on the Ultrashot 3, went up a half size than normal (wider foot) and enjoying what I feel when I slid my foot into them. Quite comfortable out of the box and looking forward to wearing them out on the court. I have worn Gel Res 7’s for several years (with longer laces to accommodate my foot, but coming off my Covid layoff did not mesh as well with the only pair of Gel Res 8’s I could get my hands on. Looking for a long term replacement for my tennis shoe (I have about 7 pairs of GR7’s I rotate through in my locker).

The content, production and attention to details are really excellent. The shoes itself look completely opposite to the new Solution Speed. It looks beefy even on the iPhone screen.

      Same width, I personally like the GP turbo feel more but if you don’t like the airbag then these will feel better- more solid under foot- both very very comfortable shoes

      @@FootDoctorZach My complaint with the GP is I needed to go up a 1/2 size and even then they are a smidge narrow - after a few weeks they are much better, but at the start my feet would go to sleep in them. The extra 1/2 size causes me to slide a little at times and "slam" into the front when I do a hard stop. That said worth the trade off for the great comfort after playing for 3 hours in a row (and I'm an old man!). I've tried almost every other shoe you've recommended and the others just don't work at all (too narrow, too wide, heel slippage, just plain uncomfortable or painful to wear, etc.) so will stick with the GP and try these when I need a new pair. thanks again, fantastic and interesting content! MUCH appreciated!

    The store guy said I over-pronate, leading to chronic pain in my ankle. He says I will benefit from a shoe with a "medial post" to stop my foot from falling inwards. I tried the Ultrashot and he said that it helped. It felt good to me too.

    Hi Zach:
    I’m a plus-sized woman but very short. I am not muscular- I’m fat. Do you think that would make a difference in these shoes? You mentioned that these are good for bigger people. I’m certainly a bigger person, but not “bigger” in the way that the pros are. I have had trouble finding shoes that are comfortable enough underfoot when I am playing a match. I have the FF Lavs (v1) and they are the most comfortable ones I’ve found but I still get a plantar fasciitis flair-up whenever I’m playing in them. Do you have any suggestions? (Other than to lose weight, lol- I’m already working on that)

    • @FootDoctorZach
      @FootDoctorZach  2 года назад +2

      I wouldn’t be too hard on yourself- heel pain is pretty common among tennis players- blushield 5 and solecourt boost , GP turbo best right now but these would be ok while newer but with the midsole foam being very spongy as soon as they start to bottom you’ll be feeling it
