For wooden blocks I see that you didn’t mention the Grimms large stepped pyramid. Do you prefer the Melissa and Doug ones to Grimms? Do the Grimms blocks get much use anymore?
I didn't mention it because I included it in my gift guide last year and I feel like I've just talked about it a lot so I was trying to include new things. But we love it still! We play with both sets frequently and it's nice to have multiple types of blocks so I can rotate them.
What would you choose between large pyramid blocks and melissa and doug blocks ?
Hmm that's a tough one. We love them both! If I had to choose I'd say LSP if you have a younger toddler and Melissa and Doug if your child is older... Although either age would still enjoy both so there is no clear winner in my opinion
