Perfect film for people who have woken up , it's very hard this procces, to change your live completely but is the cure not the anesthetic in which we live , is to escape from the matrix
I love Fight Club because it rips apart the illusions that society forces us to live by. It’s more than just a movie; it’s a rebellion against everything fake and oppressive in this world. It calls out the consumerist bullshit, the way people are chained to systems that don’t serve them, and the lies we’re fed about identity and success. The idea of breaking free from those chains, smashing the structures that keep us controlled, and finding raw, unapologetic truth it resonates with me. It’s the same kind of fight my people have always faced, pushing back against colonization, oppression, and systems designed to strip us of who we are. What really hits is the message about unity, brotherhood, and purpose. It’s about finding power in chaos, stripping life down to its bare essentials, and remembering that we are more than what we’re told to be. The film feels like a mirror to everything I stand for resisting control, questioning authority, and building something real out of the rubble of what’s been forced on us.
im not gonna pretend like I felt understand the point this movie is trying to make because maybe there is not one but ill always find it interesting how people think this movie is in support of masculinity or all these ideas, Tyler is a part of all of us but look where that lead him, to shooting himself in the head, even if Tyler ultimately achieved his goal, at what cost and why do we try to feed this side of us, not disagreeing just thinkin.
I get what you say but I think that shooting myself in the head and achieving something bigger than myself, is more worth it than having a regular life
Film is an attempt to warn the audience about people like tyler, who is charming and persuasive but he leads a cult. Turns people from one mindless ideology, consumerism to another, anarchism/fascism type thing.
That is the main idea. It is a critique and analysis of masculinity, not a celebration of it. As men we have to manage ourselves, and while it can be easy to follow someone like Tyler who appears to have the answers, you will ultimately be led astray. Tyler's juvenile anarchist philosophy is not the point of the movie, it is a cautionary tale, to observe your own masculinity and improve yourself without falling into the traps the characters of the film do.
Despite being a sci-fi and fantasy enjoyer, Fight Club has been one of the most interesting films I've ever watched. I only watched it this year as a 20 year old and I've watched it 7 times already. Tyler Durden truly is a figure of masculinity, but I'd say not much about discipline. We can learn from him, habits, ways of speech, and gestures on how to be more masculine, but he is literally destroying himself in the film. He says "One step closer to rock bottom" and "Self improvement is masturbation, now self destruction...*smirks*" meaning that he was really willing to throw his organized civilian life away and turn to a more chaotic criminal or terrorist life. I still love his character, but of course I wouldn't follow his ways, and even if I did, I'm very likely to get caught and thrown into jail.
In many ways ``self-improvement´´ which is on fleek here in youtube is a scam, but of course is worse wasting time on videogames and so on... ``self improvement ´´ is a fashion in which many people are becoming rich like Andrew Tate, the only real thing is to go out from your confort zone, the rest is bullshit, well, doing a bit of exercise, having a good diet, cold showers are good habits of course that I do every day but nothing to do with happines, happines is confront fears an in many cases this requires you not to be a good boy, not to follow the rules etc... the time of my life when I was happier was when I was 16 years old, I was with my friends all day haging around in the street we did what we felt like in the present moment, it was my happier time and I didn't do any of these habits but we were all the time going out from our confort zone and the activities that we felt like in each moment

Except it isnt about not giving a fuck, the ending of the movie is him literally realising that completely not giving a fuck causes hell to break loose.
@@harms123 The second part is something a lot of people need to hear. I feel second hand embarrassment when i see people protesting a war half a planet away, which they have absolutely no impact on, meanwhile they dont even have their own life in check (for example)
@@callanc3925 I see nothing embarrassing about that. Advocating for your beliefs and supporting or protesting is important, even if it's far away.
