I normally hate swatches b/c the ink isn’t a true representation of how it will look out of the pen. However I love the way you swatch and follow up with whimsical doodles. I keep coming back to your videos for context. Thank you for a relaxing informative video.
What an awesome opportunity to showcase Dominant Industry and swatch some beautiful inks! My faves are Goryeo Celadon and Leaf Green. The watercolors are so cool! Thanks so much for sharing! 🤘🏼😸🧡🖋
wow…they’re all beautiful inks but that violet takes my heart! you always do such a wonderful job of swatching inks. i look forward to each new video you post. ❤️❤❤
Liane, you did a fabulous job on this video, it was a delight to watch, thank you! I've appreciated your subtitle changes/improvements to how you shoot your content, wonderfully done! 🥰
oh my goodness, that is so kind of you to say! I've been working hard to try new ways to improve my videos so it's validating to hear that you've noticed!
Just when I think I have enough ink! OMG. the Maple and Violet inks are so lovely. Sunset is gorgeous too. So much temptation, lol. Thanks for the video!
DAMNNNNN! these are GORGEOUSSSS!!! I am really loving the look of Forest, Manschurian Violet and Sunset! I am LOVING anything periwinkle blue these days, however Periwinkle Twinkle leans a little too blue for me. They are doing wonderful things, Dominant Industry!!
I know, right?!? Lol. I'm with you. I would've liked Periwinkle to lean a little more on the lavender side, but still really lovely with the gold shimmer.
gorgeous colours, my fave is the Goryeo Celadon, by the looks of the writing sample it will probs tend to be very pale when writing with it. The second fave is the Autumn Forest. I have been finding that the pale inks are very hard to write with and I have been struggling with them, it's a pity because I have some very pretty colours. Thank's for sharing Liane
Goryeo Celadon is gorgeous! It is on the paler side, I think it would work well as a wash of color on a page. I'll ink it up in a broad nib and see how I like it.
Oh my goodness... give me all the greens 😍... Sunset is beautiful too. I love the colors of the watercolor paint stones. I am really wanting to get into watercolor so I am so glad you received some of theirs to show.
Of course! I also would like to dabble in watercolors so this is a nice intro. There's definitely an overlap of interest between fountain pen ink and watercolor.
@@lianelikes yes, I did some trial watercolor stuff but when I saw Karyna Loves to Plan use her inks to do watercolor..opened up a whole lot more options. Very exciting. I hope you try it soon.
I love the Autumn Forest. I have it at the moment in a TWSBI Diamond 580 with a 1.5 stub nib, which is fun, and I really get to experience the shimmer as well. Which pen did you choose? Have you tried Earl Grey Tea from Dominant Industry, it's Orange with beautiful shading🙂 I have found that brown inks look really great on the Takasago paper 🕵️♀️ Thank you for another beautiful video🙏
I've been wanting to use a spray bottle, like a small cosmetic one, to do ink sampling but couldn't think of how to make it practical. Maybe you can try it in my stead and show us what it looks like. 😅
Hi Liane, can you please give a more detailed description of the watercolor stones? (07:07) (e.g. What is the precise name given to the box?) I would like to purchase the stones (in Germany).
Hi! Yes, they were a limited edition offering from Dominant Industry, I don’t know if they still sell this collection. I would Google “dominant industry watercolor stones set” and see what pulls up!
Both forests and the leaf green for sure and Celedon too
I love the Periwinkle Twinkle!
yes, it's gorgeous!!!

Autumn Forest appeals here.

Oh these inks are so lovely. I love the sheening on that first one. SO pretty.
Forest is gorgeous and it has just the right amount of sheen!

of course, glad you enjoyed it!
These are all beautiful inks! If I had to choose just one, I would pick Periwinkle Twinkle.
Thanks, Connie!

Enjoy watching your video
Keep it up

Just found your channel and I love your videos :)
Hi Amanda, I'm glad you enjoy them!!!
Nicely done.
Thank you!
I've had my eye on Sunset but it's always sold out when I'm ready to buy it 😅I haven't seen it very often so I was glad to see it here!
Sunset is a beautiful color!!! I hope you're able to get a hold of a bottle in the near future!

I would love to see how the Celadon looks in a broad nib🤗@@lianelikes
Autumn Forest is a real banger. My girlfriend got me a bottle of that for my birthday and it's really something.
Your girlfriend has good ink tastes! Glad you have Autumn Forest. I love it so much. What do you have it inked in?
@@lianelikes Currently my Narwhal Original Peter Draws, also a gift from her. haha

That is good to know, about brown inks and Takasago paper! I currently have Autumn Forest in my TWSBI mini in a broad nib and it works well!

That sounds like a fun idea! If I give it a go, I'll definitely give you a shout out for the inspiration!

I will have to check the packaging and get back to you on the specific name.
@@lianelikes Thank you!
You are lucky to get them as a gift 🎁 the ink swatches is unreal 🥹
I certainly feel lucky!
