She never worked that business and had nothing to do with it until the photo ops when running for Congress. Her husband ran the business while Marge was a lady (loosely said) who lunched and hung out at the gym. Being bored she decided to use some of her wealth to build a couple of cross fit gyms.
Interestingly, the construction business her dad created was the exact model of Daddy Trump: using government money to build shoddy housing for section 8 and skimming most of the government money right off the top and into his pockets.
