Yeah Judas Iscariot had more of a technical and experienced sound when it came to guitars that rivals Urgehal sound in my opinion. Burzum had a more junkier basement sound then it refined itself to more folk metal while Varg was in jail. Now he does more folk black metal. As for Akhenaten he was a genius and it sucks that this band isn’t as known in the Black Metal Scene as DarkThrone. Also too Akhenaten is a fucking hottie so what’s not to love about this album 😍😍😍 also too I mean Conjuring Hells Fire has got to be the sickest track on this EP.

As someone who absolutely loves Burzum, I completely agree. Judas Iscariot scratches an itch that very few other BM artists have managed to. Something about the Midwest in the winter is just so dreadful and foreboding, and I think Akhenaten captures that perfectly.
