2001.. we were teenagers in college and were swept away by huge films like Gadar, Lagaan and Dil Chhata hai. Missed this film in theatres. Cut to 2003, engineering days in Pune (I am from Mumbai btw)....lazy afternoon, so rented a VCD on recommendation and it was this film!!! Watched it several times post that lazy noon and even now, after 20 years I am still madly deeply crazily in love with this film.

Everyone acted as real and beautifully I remembered when i watched first this movie in 2002 during college time. I think this is the only movie in which no fight schene seen but but all character,story,voice and music song is so good cant express myself. In the year of 2001 i was studying in class 7th and the promotion of this movie came over on zee music and MTV that time i never saw the theatre. So many times i listen these songs and heared from so many peoples about this movie. But today i watched and i can tell that amazing movie by the new comers
I saw this movie about 24 years ago (when it was released) and after that I am watching it today, I still remember every scene, I love this movie ❤❤❤
I remember watching this movie. Me and my siblings were kids and hung out with our cousins. My cousins and us decided to buy some movie DVDs. We bought this one and a movie of Kareena Kapoor. We couldn't choose which one to watch first. So, we decided to just watch this one since we don't know the actors and probably not as good as Kareena's movie and watch Kareena's movie last since we wanted to leave the best for the last. After watching this movie, we got flooded with emotions, love, fandom for this movie, its songs and the actors. Later when we watched Kareena's movie, we couldn't even focus since we wouldn't stop thinking and talking about Tum Bin. So was the aura of this movie. This is one of the most underrated movies of Bollywood. We 90s kids are so lucky to grow up watching such masterpieces. I have watched this movie probably over 20 times since then.
Priyanshu is a gem. I have watched his Bengali movies too. He is indeed a great artist. And without any doubt, I love this movie and the songs are evergreen.

Watched this recently & I don't think a masterpiece like this can be made again. The level of complex emotion, tragic love, beauty, and happiness in love that it projects and teaches you; while being generous to the fallacies of human nature. The director really showed that Shehkar was Pia's true love -- in such a realistic and powerfully gorgeous way. Longing, chahat, friendship, bond, love and ... words don't even express. Magical and never again. If anything, an extended ending would've been the cherry on top.

In 2001 when it released I avoided the movie , but when I saw it I fall in love with this movie and watched it again again and again after counting 100 I left the counting and still watch the movie . It is not a movie it is emotions , love , sacrifice and something beyond the words.
I was very little maybe 4-5 years of age around 2004 when I first watched this movie on CD player with my family. Loved it back then and still makes me cry even to this day :)
