Yes. That's exactly how marketing works. Literally, every politician/business owner does it regardless of which party they belong to. Why are you pretending to be morally outraged by it? Do you think it's somehow racist to acknowledge that black culture prioritizes fashion more so than other cultures? Is it racist to make truthful observations and market on them? Do you subconsciously believe that a culture that prioritizes fashion is beneath you, hence the reason you needlessly associate this with Jim Crow?

What sort of Woman would buy Trump branded perfume or shoes, let alone admit to wearing it?
I'm a fashion and fitness photographer based in Monaco, and I asked the Women that model (all professional models) for me whether they would buy the perfume or shoes. The unanimous reply was that they would never contemplate buying or wearing anything that was Trump branded.
The general consensus was, that anything that had the Trump name attached would be cheap and tacky. The shoes were a good example of bad taste, which appears to be the Trump hallmark.
So it appears that the Trump perfume and shoes would be absolutely ideal for a Trump supporter, but not for anybody with the least bit of class and taste.
Not to mention that Trump may now be on the hook for infringing trademark/patent because of the red sole. The Christian Louboutin fashion house apparently has a lot to say about that little detail.
In addition to all of that, it is a serious breach of flag etiquette to incorporate it it into an item of clothing in this way. (The exception is having it worn as a patch on a uniform of any kind.) It's great that a our former president knows such things as well as he knows the Constitution.
